Courtyard by Marriott Columbus

The cook to order breakfast was very nice. Disappointed that coffee is not served with breakfast. That it costs between 2 and 3 dollars or so to get a cup of coffee because it is Starbucks. disappointed in choices of What I can have to drink with my nice, wonderful breakfast.

Disappointed in the choices of TV channels. As we spent a good bit of our evening in our room. If you are sports fan you have lots of channels, but if you want to watch something like Sundance, Hallmark, Nickelodeon it's not available. Need to have family oriented programming available. We're not coming back to that location, Solely based on the TV channels available.

I loved the location, the amenities and how clean the room was. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the hotel.

I didn't like that the king room didn't have a microwave. The nearest one was at the end of the hall next to the ice machine. My boyfriend is 6'6 and he was hanging off the bed, lol. So he didn't get much sleep and ended up on the couch. Poor thing.

The lady that checked us in was terrific. She have exceptional customer service and was extremely kind. My husband walks with a cane so I always have to be alert to him and she was just wonderful. I had gotten lost and couldn't find the hotel so was somewhat mentally tired when I arrived. She was soooo calm and even helped us with our baggage up to our room and gave me great directions to a good restaurant. It was the best service I ever had. Thank you so much. The rooms are nice and spacious and we got a great night's sleep.

The staff more than accommodated for what was not available. They made it easy for trash to receive extra towels, trash to me removed, etc. although housekeeping was limited. Plus the staff was just overall friendly and helpful. The room and courtyard was beautiful, peaceful. Just what we needed at the time.

Certain services weren't available due to COVID... no fault of the hotel/staff, but still missed stuff like daily room cleaning & hotel bar/dining services.

The nicest staff, particularly the lovely woman at the breakfast buffet. Everyone is polite.

I hesitate to be critical because hotels these days are suffering due to Covid restrictions, however, the room, while comfortable and adequate, could use a sprucing up. The A/C gave off an odor. This is typical for southern states, but the filters, etc., should be tended to more frequently to avoid having the musty, funky smell coming from the A/C.

The staff was most helpful when problems arose.

The air conditioning in our first room was not cooling properly. We moved to another room and that was okay. The knob on the iron was broken and the halls on the second floor were uncomfortably warm.

The property was beautiful and close to Ft. Benning

my only complaint would be they need bigger trash cans in the rooms, with COVID they don’t come in and clean the rooms everyday so the trash piles up quickly.

the parking in the back smelled like marijuana, but that's my issue because I hate the smell

The supervisor Patrica was very sweet and welcoming when we came in. I love that they have cookies a fruit infused water in the lobby for guest.

For an older hotel it was fairly decent, when I booked this i was thinking it was the venue that was closer to the Civic Center. But it was still convenient to the Mall.

it was further away from my venue but it all worked in the end
