Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Phenix City

The amazing views, the staff was absolutely amazing. Family had flown in from WA and driven in from SC to Phoenix city courtyard Marriott to attend my daughters high school graduation from Harris County High and 2 birthdays. We were able to set up an amazing area by the pool to celebrate our Graduate, and Birthdays.

Locked in Room 😳😳😳 well let’s just say the deadbolt jammed, thank God the young lady at the front desk was so attentive. Maintenance was not there, it was too early in the morning because we were heading to graduation rehearsal. I asked the young lady to please get me a kitchen knife, she got me two 😁 with my daughter holding the door handle down, I was able to move the deadbolt back, success we were free.

I didn't have breakfast there. But everything there was just great!I like everything about it. Thank you for you staffs in working with me doing my stay about straightening out my Personal business of the used of my card at first. Patients they was until I finish solving it. Great work both of them on desk duty. Sorry ! I didn't know there name. Forgive me please!

The smell of the lobby was great, nice pool and sitting area. It is convenient to walk over to Broadway to shop and eat.

Our air conditioner until leaked water/ condensation in the floor, which got a good bit of our belongings wet. This also messed with our sinuses.

The location of the hotel was perfect with very nice scenery of the riverfront and the bridge. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly.

The only thing that I didn't appreciate was the fact that i paid for breakfast that was suppose to be included in the room price. There wasn't breakfast that was included. You have to pay for the breakfast that was in the café which was pricey for the items they offered.

The room was clean furniture was placed very well and different from most. Refreshing. The triangle cabinet for refrig and ice bucket we cleverly executed. Of course the large wi Dow and the view. The bathroom shower was very cleaver placement of dial was awesome as well as the well placed ledges even the drain was far more appealing than the usual circle drain. The cabinets next to the bed were perfect sized and designed with mirrors that we very helpful to enlarge space. Overhead lighting for the bed was very cleaver as well as the wall behind the bed. Electric outlets stringently placed were wonderful. Whatever team was used to execute that room I would hire them again. Even the choice of hallway carpet was wonderful. I say all of this because at one time my husband designed hotel’s architecturally. It was the most exciting design we have seen in many years. Hats off to the designers. Well done

Not one thing except we could not stay longer

I loved the ease of everything especially with the Covid-19 but the staff was extremely helpful to my son and I during our entire stay.

If checkout is at noon. I don’t expect staff to knock on my door at 9am to rush me out of the room. That is my one and only complaint. I am already a light sleeper and the cleaning staff start cleaning very early and it’s impossible to enjoy a noon checkout with all that commotion in the hallways.

There was no shampoo or conditioner in the dispensers (had not been refilled). There was soap, but not in the dispenser. We always come up for a night, so not having to pack all that has been very helpful. The other rooms associated with our group had their shower dispensers full. I know it sounds petty, yet like I said, we come up for a day. It just helps not to have to pack those types of things.

I love how clean it was and the pool was open it was hot. The staff was nices and the location was good

The prices.. and that there was no food when it was post to be. I stayed 4 days and payed over 700 bucks post to been free breakfast. And I didnt like the rooms didnt get clean the whole time you are there

The room and hotel was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were professional and went out of their way to ensure our stay was exceptional. Idris and Tameka were the best with going above and beyond providing excellent customer service.

Everything was excellent.

I like the location close to the attraction & the staff was awesome.. The room was clean, air was cool, & thee was an awesome view of the riverwalk by the pool area.

They could have a continental breakfast included for the cost & the rooms could use a microwave. Also parking should be free for the quest.
