Azalea Inn and Villas

My husband and I stayed at this charming inn for several nights. The room was perfect, along with its private balcony where we sat each morning and evening! The breakfast each morning was delicious and we loved the little extras - sherry in the parlour and dessert served to the guests each evening. The staff and the service were impeccable and made us feel at home. The location is on a quiet street near Forsyth Park and only moments from restaurants and shops. We can't say enough about this wonderful place and would return in a heartbeat!

Very welcoming and you were so well looked after and made to feel special. The breakfasts were delicious and there was sherry and desert in the evening. A lovely old inn. Savannah is a beautiful place with lots of squares, history and great places to eat.

We didn’t get everyone’s name but the staff/team was awesome! They took care of us and gave us a memorable 30th Wedding Anniversary in Savannah! We couldn’t reserve the fanciest room, but it was comfortable and super clean. We really enjoyed the morning meet and greet with the others while enjoying a fantastic breakfast each morning.

Instead of a dessert each evening, a wine and cheese would have been more enjoyable.

The staff at the Azalea are so helpful and welcoming. The Inn itself is lovely and tranquil, and the breakfasts were wonderful including fresh coffee & teas ~ amazing quiches and breakfast potatoes, delicious morning salads and muffins, sausage, etc....

There was nothing not to like at The Azalea the location is perfect on a quiet street with lots of local restaurants and coffee houses yet very close to activities like historical museums and the Riverfront.

The property is beautiful and the staff are warm and welcoming. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, as was evening dessert. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. It's also nice to have the option to park on site and not worry about coming back and having to park a mile away. We will definitely be back and stay longer!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Chinaberry Balcony room and it was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. The breakfast every morning was delicious! The hotel was close to many landmarks and attractions. Overall this is a great bed and breakfast and a must stay!

Everything was great, but the room was pricey. Having said that, you get what you pay for.

The chef, Dez, was amazing! not only did she specifically cater to our dietary needs but her food was top notch. Actually the best food I think we had while in Savannah was her nightly dessert treats that were put out. Overall, the staff was attentive and friendly. Little touches were nice such as the coffee/tea station and the brandy that is left out in the parlor room. Cool and quirky things like the window “door” to get on to the balcony area is fun.

so many great things about this place but was overpriced at 400 dollars a night

We loved everything about this property. The Wisteria Cottage was beautiful, private, super clean, and very comfortable. The service was phenomenal. They made us feel welcome and special. They were very knowledgeable, caring, helpful and served from the heart. The breakfast, 5 pm hors D’ourves, and nightly dessert were creative and delicious. They even gave us warm hot breakfast sandwiches to take on our way to the airport on the day we left.

I wished it was a little closer to the river but between Uber and the Downtowner we got around just fine without the need to rent a car.

The little touches the chef did, for example, desert made for the guests every evening. The sherry for the guests to help themselves was a lovely touch also.

No faults at all, i would highly recommend The Azelea Inn

The complimentary breakfast in the elegant diningroom was fresh and delicious, The fruit dish was so fresh and we now love grits! The beautiful floral arrangement on the dining table was an exquisite touch. Kudos to the chef and servers, The inn is historic yet the rooms are tastefully designed with modern upgrades in the bathroom and overhead recessed lighting, mulitudes of charging stations on nightstand and in lamps. We stayed in the Sweet Olive room which had a french door that opened onto a private balcony next to the pool and beautiful garden.
