We stayed on the wing where we had a view of the river. It was very peaceful. Sitting at the balcony was nice. Room was nice, bed && pillows was super comfortable. Every staff at the cloister was extremely nice.

There was only one small issue. One of the sinks in the bathroom was not draining. Problem was fixed when we mentioned it to hotel staff.

Breakfast buffet was outstanding and the service most excellent.

The management of the room service was spotty. The last day we were there, the room was never serviced. One prior day, we had to call to have the service because it had not been serviced, and we were preparing for the New Year's Eve celebration at the Oak Room.

We loved every single moment of our stay. We were there for four nights over New Years. Family of 5, 2 parents and 3 kids ages 17-21. Each of had a fantastic time.

I wish the Cloister sent out a copy of our Itinerary before we arrived, so we could make sure we had signed up for all the activities and meals that we intended to, for the right number of people.

Very nice stay with nice people, but extremely expensive and they charge you for every detail.

Nice if you would add some fruit in the room like an apple and banana.

Breakfast was great. Rooms were wonderful....Staff was very helpful. Facility is lovely and well manicured.

We had some problems with dinner reservations. No one told us we needed to reserve 24 hours in advance. We didn't hear at all the first day about our reservation and when arrived at restaurant there was no evidence of a reservation. 2nd day we had some problems and were placed at a unacceptable table for my Birthday diinner.

We were only able to stay for one night and left prior to breakfast.

We were offered a sweet bag to take home (my daughter is 3) which included a stuffed animal owl that my daughter fell in love with however, we left it behind in the rush to leave at 5:30am. I called to see if there was anything they could do to send us another and was told they didnt have anymore. They took my number and never called back so that was a bummer.

The spa is one of the best I have ever experienced. The staff and service was very attentive to me. I visited there after my grandmother’s funeral to decompress The bellman asked what brought me to the Cloister and I told him. The next day when I returned from the spa there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers waiting for me.
