Meriwether Country Inn

Very nice, clean, and the staff was very exceptional.

The area for me was within a small quaint town and I’m used to city life so to go anywhere even resembling that meant a minimum of a 30-40 minute or so drive. However, if you like a quiet time with many antique stores and small town living this is your place.

Hotel was quiet. Close to where we were going. The shower was great for a big girl like me. I didn’t feel cramped or like I was going to fall through at any minute.

This property is very simple. No frills. Only 2 pillows on each bed. Beds were comfortable. I suggest you bring your own toiletries because the ones they have in my opinion were not that great.

No breakfast. Lobby being redone. Location only hotel for miles around. Pleasant owners. Easy access on ground level.

Needed a clean shower curtain. Not clean under the furniture and in corners. Noisy when people on the second floor were moving out.

Only issue was with the refrigerator. Not very cold and had a little water in it. Thermostat knob was missing but was able to turn the stem the knob went on a little. Then ice started forming a little but overall, no problem.

We arrived around 8:30pm and was greeted promptly at the portico window by our gracious host. Check-in was a breeze and he was very polite, asking about and considering our wishes for room location. He indicated the hotel was run by he and his wife and reviewed the Covid-19 safety precautions they are taking. The room was up-to-date and very comfortable. The TV, mini-fridge and microwave worked well and the personal coffee pot and coffee were enjoyed. I have experienced a lot worse for more money. This budget friendly hotel is worth the money!

Right in town, bar-b-que restaurant next door, quaint, clean and surprisingly quiet.

Only thing I didn't like was the lobby wasn't open so I had to use a phone by the "night window" to turn in my door key in the morning. No biggie ☺️

This was an unplanned outing with daughters and everything was perfect, from rooms to distance to downtown. We will definitely return.

It would have been nice to have small map of downtown and some general information about town. ButI did not get to go into office because of Covid restrictions and this may have been available. We did not have a complaint about facilities. Thank you.

Location was great. Room very clean and updated. Staff very nice and helpful. Price was responsible.

Just a couple little things. Not enough towels in room at checkin and didn't have any when asked but next day got plenty. They didn't come in and empty trash or check room for supplies during multiple day stay but the staff was great and very helpful.

Unexpected gem located in a quaint little country town with lots of neat shops and restuarants. Comfy and quiet, newly remodeled rooms, very decently price with the friendliest staff!! We enjoyed our stay!

The coffee was pretty bad buttt there are two coffee shops a very short walk away. The bathroom walls also needed a good washing and the toilet ran constantly. Not deal breakers by any means...

The location was so close to the shops. The hotel was nice and the employees were very nice.

It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit to watch TV instead of just the bed. You could also smell cigarette smoke in our room really bad at times. We both quit smoking many years ago so it bothered us pretty bad.
