City Suites Hotel

Have stayed here many times before due to the location of the hotel with regards to Wrigley Field and the CTA Red Line which zips you in town in just a few minutes. Only thing I miss is the free breakfast, it was a main reason for staying here.

Bring back the free breakfast! I'll be booking at the Best Western at Hawthorne for my next trip to Chicago, some friends stayed there and loved the free breakfast. Also, what is with the light switches in the bathroom? The lights turn off every 60 second or so leaving you in the dark unless you wave your hands like a crazy person to reactivate the lights. Bring back the breakfast and normal bathroom lights, please!

The most important feature is the location 100 ft subway station giving access to the red & brown lines the neighborhood has all services groceries restaurants this location saved time and money in my trip the property is old but well maintained and clean the main purpose of my trip was doing Chicago marathon 2022 so this location is recommended for any runner want to participate as the start line is around 20 minutes from the hotel by subway

there is a level of noise in the neighborhood but was ok for me this might be personal measure different from person to person but I was in 4th floor and I slept well all nights without any issue

I traveled with a Friend to Pride Fest; we stayed 3 days the rooms were clean and comfortable. the Location was excellent close to many restaurants, shopping and there was a little grocery market right across the street that had everything thing we needed and also a small Target store within walking distance. I definitely will stay here again whenever I'm in Chicago.

Perfect location to Boystown/Halstead - room was bigger then some other hotels I’ve tried in the vicinity - heavy rains the day I was departing delayed some of my plans and the staff was proactive at letting me know I could leave my bags - this was a huge plus for me / I was staying with friends after my stay but the weather delayed by moving to their place and I was able to explore a bit for a few hours. The staff was so friendly and welcoming (Friday afternoon) - I just really liked the place and would definitely stay again.

Location is amazing. 10 min walk to Wrigley field. Lots of restaurants nearby, parking is a block away. Bed was comfortable. Halls were quiet. Room was great.

The first check in guy seemed like I was imposing on him. Not really rude, just short with answers. But was very knowledgeable. All the other staff was great. Bathroom tile got slippery after a shower. The hallway on the fourth floor smelled like smoke.

This hotel was a prime spot for the trip my friends and I had planned and was significantly cheaper than anywhere else in the area to boot. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Made the stay 100% worth it and I will definitely be going here the next time I'm in Chicago.

The tvs were a bit difficult to operate as the remotes didn't cover all the functions. Other than that, the windows didn't provide much of a view, but considering where the building is placed that wasn't a surprise.

This hotel is located next to the L-train making travel to airports and downtown a breeze. Wrigley Field is a pleasant 15min walk and the route is very safe and pedestrian friendly. Chicago Bagel Authority is located on the same block and Gioradano's is just down the street. We will definitely book with this hotel the next time we visit Chicago.

Not the hotels fault but we were not able to get Continental breakfast served due to COVID-19 restrictions so it would've been nice if the hotel could've put out a few individually packaged food choices.

This is an older hotel, but the room was adequately sized and the location and proximity to things to do and places to eat just can't be beat. There was no breakfast during our stay due to the pandemic so can't comment on that.

We could have done with a few less noises from the heating and pipes - but again this is an older building and we knew what to expect. It would also be nice to have a little more distance between the bathroom and the bed.

Good location to Wrigley Field, only reason we stayed there. Nicely stocked room fridge and prices were decent for the offerings.

Weird smell when you come in. Rooms are kinda dingy, needs a refresher. Carpets cleaned, fresh paint, ECT. I was double charged, once thru booking.com and again at the establishment. That was frustrating, took my money instantly but days to get back. Probably would not stay there again.

Location, good mattress/bed, clean room

Shower could have been a bit warmer and stronger jet of water. Noise of heating system, but not really a big issue during the night. It is a bit of an old building, which creaks occasionally (e.g., floor), but again not a big issue (especially on the 4th (top) floor.
