Hotel Zachary, Chicago, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

the location of this hotel is exceptional. you are right by wrigley field and all the bars, shops, etc. we stayed on a concert weekend and sat at the bar and listened all day. the staff was amazing. it was our ten year anniversary and they put us in an amazing room and left champagne for us in the room! the front desk was very welcoming and courteous. the bell men were always smiling and when we walked in we were looking for water and they pulled out water bottles for us! it was just a really great experience all around. I was sad when the stay was over!

Convenience to venue and restaurants, uniqueness, comfortable accommodations.

No refrigerator in room, unbelievably mediocre buffet breakfast for $26+ dollars apiece for my daughter and I - we only participated one morning because there are so many more venues nearby with outstanding breakfasts/brunches at a much more affordable price. Over $600.00 per night.

Awesome hot/cold breakfast w good variety of selections including different beverages. Great valet service for vehicle. Requested ahead microwave & refrigerator in room. Neither upon arrival. Told Raymond @ front desk & he notified maintenance immediately. Recv’d phone call appliances be dropped off soon. Shortly after employee showed up & set both up. All staff employees @ door, front desk, maintenance, & breakfast buffet friendly & very professional! Thank you very much.

No microwave & refrigerator in room which was requested when made reservation. Yet issue was resolved quickly w appliances installed shortly after front desk notified.

The location was perfect for attending a Cubs game! Our cars were well cared for by attentive valets. Decorated sugar cookies in the lobby were delicious! There were many great restaurants in the area for dinner. It was such a pleasure to be able to walk across the street to our hotel rooms for the evening instead of fighting the traffic for a long trip home after the game.

The Hotel Zachary was lovely! The lobby and restaurant/bar were beautiful, and I loved that there were dining options on the hotel's first floor if you don't want to venture out of the hotel. The room was beautiful too! It was more spacious than many other Chicago hotels that I've visited which was great for our group of three! Everything was beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing!

I enjoyed people watching on the balcony. Normally I would have walked around because I know the neighborhood, but I had an injury and I rested in my room instead. Still, I enjoyed the bar area and the bakery downstairs!

The desk staff was a little lukewarm. Still, they were helpful when I needed information.

The location was superb, and the amenities especially were outstanding. The staff was super kind, and I felt right at home in my hotel room! The showers, bed, and view were particularly exceptional. Additionally, the area has quite a few fantastic restaurants very close by!

The breakfast, for example, was not included. I also noticed a yellow stain on the robe in my room. Besides that, and the fact that some patrons were not wearing their masks, everything was quite incredible!

Our daughter, Alyssa wanted to surprise her dad for his 61st birthday. I purchased tickets for the Cubs game, my husband Ray does not really care to come to the city. Alyssa thought it would be so much easier staying at the Zachary hotel which is directly across from Wrigley Field, so her dad would not have to drive around there city. When I found out how much the room was I told her it was way too much for her to spend. I ended up using my miles. At check in, the guest registration was very very nice, she told us our room was upgraded for my husband's birthday. Ray was so excited when we arrived in our room. We both had a great time, beautiful room, Cubs won. Alyssa came to see the room after we had dinner, to see the look on her and her dad's face was greatly treasured. Thank you

A little too expensive.

We were there for one night to catch a game at Wrigley Field. Couldn't be more happy with the location and park view from our room. Room looked exactly like the pictures. We were able to Uber easy from the airport and then walk everywhere. Very clean. Front desk held our bags thr next day while we went and played for a few hours before our flight.

Nothing it was great.

This is a new hotel in Chicago. I did not know it was a Marriott hotel or else I could have earned some points! Staff was very pleasant. It is very clean and the room is a good size. Slept well... They also did not say that coffee is free for guests at the coffee place downstairs. Sad to say, they close at noon!! I am not sure if that place is affiliated with the hotel but, that is so bizarre. I would expect breakfast places stay open till 2 or 3 pm. At any rate, the hotel is really nice. Although a little expensive, it is still a good place to stay.
