We really liked the decor & the comfort. Most of all we really appreciated the security ie, guest elevators requiring room key to go to guest floors.
Not necessarily a knock on the property, but the hotel requires a $75 deposit/hold PER night that is not mentioned anywhere on their website nor is it stated anywhere in the booking.com listing. At check in I was told they needed my card for a $75 deposit & that want a problem. It really wouldn’t have been a problem had they told me it was $75/night, but they didn’t. After checkout I saw a $150 charge/hold on our card and was then told it was $75/night. In summary, the charge/hold on our card didn’t cause us any problems per se, however that’s info that needs to be readily available prior to check in.

The art and location in the Art District was a double plus. It was really unique and clean. Many of the shops were closed I guess due to the holiday but other than that it was a great stay. Great view from all around in and outside
The air system was quite loud when it turned on and off. Sounded like someone was coming in the room and the phone did not work. There was a monitor with digital art displayed in the elevator but the next day it wasn't working. We were quite disappointed because it was a cool feature. The room was not big but the bathroom compensated that a little. I asked if breakfast was provided they didnt understand my question, it was fee based.

We didn't have it explained that there was breakfast included, so missed it. The bed was very comfortable. The shower reduced water flow was sufficient, and econologically responsible. The bathroom was super clean, as was all the room.
The checkin time being 4 pm...that's late. And then when we arrived at 2:45 pm, Mabel said she would call my cellphone when the room was ready, but she left work and didn't have her replacement call me. There were no vending machines, for sodas. And the front desk only had $3 water bottles.

We loved the art, it was such a unique stay and we loved that! There were art shows while we were there and the hotel truly allows for such a unique experience. The room was comfortable.
The reception is on an upper floor and you need to come back down after check in to get your stuff / use another set of elevators to get up to the rooms. It was a bit confusing, but we did arrive late so that could have added to it. The location is a bit further out from downtown, but we had a car so it wasn't too bad. Street parking in St.Louis is really cheap. It was pretty close to some great restaurants so overall it was okay.

Def liked all of the art. I loved the room, my partner thought the pillows were creepy but they’re pretty neat. you can flip them and they’re diff eyes, so cool. The city is hard to get around, but that’s the city. The outside is clean, the lobbies, elevators, it was a good time.
We didn’t care for parking. They made explaining how parking works difficult, we decided to just roll the dice. IF YOU’RE OFFERED A PARKING PASS PACKAGE, just take it it’s easier than the anxiety we had about being charged an arm and a leg.

it was in the fine arts area. The hotel had art displays and the rooms were very large and displayed the same art. There was a roof top bar / restaurant that overlooked the city.
Room we reserved wasn’t ready at 4pm but they offered another just different color. We were there for our 45th wedding anniversary and a Cardinal baseball game. When we returned after the game we went to the roof top lounge for a drink and the view of downtown spSt. Louis at night. We had memorabilia we had purchased at the game stolen when we walked away from our table. No fault of the hotel but bad end to our special day.

Kirk the Doorman was fabulous great local knowledge always smiling and happy to assist, plus Courtney made us some fabulous cocktails on the top floor bar and ground floor restaurant.
The breakfast was located within the restaurant, the prices seemed excessive with $8 extra for a cappuccino, and to access your room after booking in the lobby was very a separate lift. Initial room given we couldn't see the Arc but managed to get it sorted once we spoke to the quick talking receptionist who really should have explained the room on arrival better.

We love the staff. I travel here with my parents to see their great-grandson and my daughter. This location is convenient, free and ample parking, well-priced, decor is fun and definitely not boring, desk and restaurant staff are all awesome and happy, breakfast food is great, rooftop bar and hangout is a great getaway. I sometimes bring my dogs, and they are welcome. As long as this place has room for us, we'll be parking ourselves here whenever we visit my daughter.

Because our first room wasn't up to our standards (see below), we were upgraded to a suite that had a view of the Arch, and it was STUNNING. So pretty and comfortable. I also loved the artwork and the overall vibe of the hotel, as well as the coordinates for a self-guided art walk it sent out with its welcome email. (We ended up driving this "walking tour" instead, due to the heat, but it made for a really fun morning.)
We were initially placed in a room that had a stained duvet, a sticky phone, and only one bathrobe, all of which freaked this immunocompromised person out a LOT. I know COVID measures are relaxing worldwide, but the virus isn't gone yet, and I would expect a hotel like this (beautiful, high-end, relatively expensive) to take care of its at-risk guests. They did take care of us when we complained, which we appreciated.

Everything was really good at this hotel. I liked the artistic flair of the place, the cleanliness, and the uniqueness of the rooms. The bathrooms were very clean the rooms were very clean the views from the roof top bar was awesome. This is a treasure of ST Louis
It was kind of difficult to find the lobby, being that it was in the 12th floor but still it was all good. There’s not one thing I didn’t like about my stay.
