Stoney Creek Hotel Moline

I love the ambiance of this hotel, The staff is super friendly The rooms are always clean and comfortable. I have stayed at this location multiple times over the past few months and will continue to stay here when I'm in the area if there is room available. If you're reading this review and others I'm sure you will see more of mine simply because I truly do enjoy this property You will not be sorry that you stayed here.

The only thing negative I would ever have to say about this place isn't even really the hotels fault it is the parents of the children that go and play in the splash fountain across the street and then come inside the hotel running around screaming like heathens. That is the only negative thing I've ever experienced so far

They offered hot eggs and meats as part of continental breakfast. Despite the construction area in the common area, the hotel and rooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful when needed. Very quiet.

They were STILL in construction for a water leak that happened during Christmas in their common/breakfast area. So, breakfast was in conference room and not maintained well. There was not an easy way to enjoy the river views on the property because of the construction areas and their hot tub was also out of order. Time away to relax was made a little more stressful because of this construction. They didn’t advise of this issue prior to our arrival so we could choose to book elsewhere if we didn’t want that hassle.

Everything was good. Room was nice. Pool was nice, like the indoor/ outdoor feature, storm had been through earlier so outside was dirty with debris, but inside was clean. Just a nice hotel.

Found sink stopper not working and screw missing on door strike plate, not major, but did inform front desk, hope it was relayed to maintenance. Elliptical in fitness room was the worst Elliptical I've ever used, but it did what I needed. Hot tub is being fixed.

there were tons of kids running wild above our room day and night and were coming in during breakfast, taking a bunch of food and then not eating it..absolutely no parent supervision. I know it’s not the staff’s fault but maybe there should be a notice of no one under 18 in any area with out adult supervision

I have stayed here a number of times over the years. Lovely hotel. Staff are pleasant. Perfect location for my activities. Hot breakfast in the am. Was a great stay!

A lot of difficulty getting into the room every time we would go in and out. The key cards/ door sensor issue were reported at checkout. No other concerns.

That I went for a quiet getaway with my daughter and her friend. We waited until after 10pm for the quiet. The music was so loud from outside you couldn’t even have a conversation in your room. The floors and walls were shaking. It was not a quiet night at all! Came out in the morning to relax by the little Stoney creek out back, the filters are making a horrible noise! I’ve been irritated since I got here but Ik that the hotel isn’t responsible for the reasons I’m irritated so that’s why the review is good. If you’re going to stay here, make sure you know what’s going on in the area!

My boyfriend and i booked a jacuzzi room. When i got there she told me they upgraded my room without any cost to me. Room was very clean and cozy. Loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi tub. The staff was friendly and the night clerk even went above and beyond to accommodate me with a box fan since i forgot mine. Loved the pool and hot tub.I will definitely be back!

There wasn't anything i disliked. Was a very pleasant experience and i will definitely be returning next time we are in the area

We stayed in a themed suite and loved how much room it had. We have a handicapped daughter, so we usually book suites for the extra wheelchair space. Even with the pictures on the booking site, we were still amazed at the size of the room. One thing we loved was the screened in porch. The whole suite had a rustic feel, and the porch was no exception. You felt like you were in a cabin when in the porch. The doors to the porch were closed on arrival, but once we opened them the porch cooled down quickly. There was a nice living room area, a whirlpool tub, separate bedroom, and lots of storage. The breakfast had a nice selection. Unfortunately we arrived about 5 minutes before the end and everything was very picked over (traveling teams…. your staff are saints!) Although we were in town two days, we didn’t have time to check out the pool (or even use the whirlpool in our room), but it looked very nice.

The only complaint I have was the hard bed. It killed my back and took hours to work out the kinks in my back. But, hotel beds are tricky. I like a softer bed, my hubby is the opposite. I would also like to gently suggest a good dusting of all the woodwork in the room.

Stoney Creek turned out to be an excellent place to stay. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was good and there was ample eating space, including an outside patio. And the best part was how quiet it was. There was a girls' softball tournament in town with a LOT of young girls staying at the hotel. Either they were well-behaved or sound didn't travel far. We were also there on the 4th of July with crazy fireworks going on. We could barely hear them indoors.

The room was quite dusty but otherwise clean. The pool are had an overwhelming chlorine smell, so much so that it gave me a headache. We tried to visit a second time and it was still too much.
