My Place Hotel-Davenport/Quad Cities, IA0

The check-in was very suspicious. When I gave the attendant my name, he asked me if I wanted to pay using using the credit card ending in a number that wasn't mine. I proceeded to give him my credit card number to pay for my room and it took him a long time to enter the credit card information. It felt like I was having my credit card number stolen during the check-in process.

Didn’t realize this chain had kitchenettes in each room. Great price for trade off of no pool or gym or brkfst provided but those were not our needs. Coffee is free & avail 24/7. Can purchase from their mini store for snacks, meal items, beverages, toiletries, flatware, sauce pot/small skillet, if staying longer. Room had reg size coffee maker w coffee, dish soap, toiletries for a few days. 4 pillows per bed. Nice fluffy white towels. Had an elevator!! Most pleasant friendly host our evening checkin & next morning.

Nothing. Was a great value for our overnight needs. Host had to change our room as I noticed the linen on one bed appeared to be used & missed. She very promptly responded to our findings & moved us across the hall + a free beverage of choice. Easily resolved for us.

I had never heard of the My Place chain before, so I read other reviews prior to booking, which were all really good, and they were spot on. This place is perfect for a weekend. It’s in a safe area, close to all kinds of restaurants, and near the highway. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had a full size fridge, microwave, and full size coffeemaker. The bathroom was spacious and the shower pressure was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and check in was quick. Overall, we’re very, very pleased with our stay! Plus, you cannot beat the price for what you get.

Very clean! They were shampooing clean carpets the morning we left. (Yes, cleaning clean carpets). Friendliness and knowledge that Latoya had of the hotel was incredible. She takes pride in her job and where she works! I said to my husband immediately after check in that she must write their customer service training materials! She was that good! Tony was very courteous and helpful the following morning. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. AC well controlled within the room. Spotless room. No smoke or pet smell. Thank you for a clean quiet place to rest while on our trip. Definitely felt like my place!

We were only at this location over night. We appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the bathroom amenities. The full size fridge was awesome! It would have been nice for an extended stay. The hotel appeared to be booked full of construction workers. They were quiet and respectful. We did not hear anything from their rooms. Someone was cooking something that smelled really good. That was rough as we were tired and would have loved to have something warm and savory cooked for us.

I did not like that our stay was so short. We arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning.

The best low budget hotel I have ever stayed in the US: very clean, and very well designed with functional rooms and bathrooms. There is also easy parking and access from the freeway. Most important: they allow dogs and there is a nice dog park 5 min away! Perfect one night stay for road trip.

If the hotel included free breakfast, this hotel would be the best ever!

we were welcomed the minute we walked into the building. Was surprised by the number of handicap parking spaces, close to the door.Our room was clean and we felt right at home.

Cannot say one bad thing. We will be recommending this place, to all of our friends. thank you.

Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, good pillows. Rooms are little mini suites with two burner stove, sink, coffee pot, full sized refrigerator with an ice maker (yes, no chasing down the hall with a bucket). Bring your own utensils, pots/pans etc. or I guess you rent them at the facility. This facility is very new, or at least has a new feel to it. The bed was so comfortable! It is just a throw away (walking distance) from a pizza joint, social drinkeries, buffalo wild wings, Biagias, Texas Roadhouse, movie theater and shopping. Highly recommend!

My husband thought they should at least have coffee in the lobby.

If I wouldn’t have seen the cars in the parking lot and occasional person in the hall I would have never known anyone else was staying at the hotel. This is one very quiet hotel. I had no problem sleeping here . There was NO hall noise.

I liked the air conditioner and fan in the room -it was quiet, yet very cool and comfortable. I love the fact they have a full sized refrigerator (with Ice machine) and kitchen! The beds are very comfortable and great pillows. This is a great value.

I really can't think of anything I didn't like. Oh, maybe a nightlight in the bathroom -or some sort of dim light for nighttime only.
