Old Bardstown Inn

The staff was terrific. The location is exceptional and it is an incredible value. The room had a very nice size refrigerator as well as a small microwave. Very helpful for light meals in the room at night following a very full day. The AC worked terrifically. When traveling by car, we always bring a fan - did not need it once!

The bed was hard and rather uncomfortable. That said, we have had worse at higher end/well-known establishments. Thankfully, we were exhausted each day and just glad to have a bed.

I've stayed here before, a couple years ago, and it has only improved in the room reno's. Super clean. Comfy. Great Wifi. Clean campus. One of the best budget motels I've stayed in. Good for solo, friend or family travel. Hot shower. There's a pool. Super crowded this time and heard little to no noise. Family that runs the Inn is kind and pleasant.

The office area stunk. I think it was culturally food related and I'm not used to the odor.

The whole place was spotless! Very impressed with the cleaning staff. Front desk was very nice and did their best to accommodate needs. Location was perfect - little noise but still close to everything.

This is picky, but there was a plate covering the bottom of the bathtub and it just didn't feel secure to me. But I never fell through! Water was as hot as you wanted. There was a light you could turn on when you opened the door, which was perfect, but the light itself was a bit dim. Other lights were great.

It was very quaint, within minutes of Bardstown itself, Wal-Mart near by, as well as attractions and restaurants. The room was clean, nice decor, looked to be recently renovated, comfortable beds/pillows. They had a nice pool, didn't know this, or we would have brought swim suits. **** We stayed in the 2 queen beds room.

For the price, it would have been nice to be offered some sort of "To Go" bag breakfast, whether yogurts/fruits, but not offered. All in all it was very nice, we've been to Bardstown in the past, didn't stay here, but when we come back, this will be the place to go.

The rate was good and the room was okay enough. Pleased that the flooring was not carpet.

Seemed like a shady location. No blanket on the bed. Just a sheet and light comforter. Bed was a little hard. No breakfast as advertised (but the check in person did offer to get us some cereal and milk).

It was super clean, the staff was fantastic, and it was close to everything we wanted to do in bardstown

The only thing I didn't like were the blankets. It was essentially just 2 sheets. But we were still comfortable because it was summer lol!

Cereal, danish, coffee and juice for breakfast. Room had been recently updated. Handy microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Location is perfect, right across the street from Old Kentucky Home!

The pillows squished to "nothing" no neck support.

I did not try the breakfast. Location was great, hotel was clean and the staff was courteous. The cost was a good value.

I stayed two nights. The trash was not emptied after the first night and we did not get fresh towels for day two. The soap snd bath/shower accessories were minimal if at all.

The room was clean and large with a great range of TV channels. It met basic expectations for sink and shower needs and it was a pleasant surprise to have both a microwave and a refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and large queen size.

My only dislike was the lower water volume and pressure in the toilet in our room. This toilet required multiple flushes for larger bowel movements.

cleanliness and convenience we were in town for Thomas the tank train ride in new haven with my 2 year old grandson this place was 19 minutes from event which made it easy to give him a nap before train ride
