DuPont Suites - Louisville - St. Matthews

We had a severe storm Friday with very high winds. My electricity went off Friday about 5 pm. I stayed at my home Friday night and the electricity did not come back on Saturday until after midnight. I got the last room available Saturday. I got a great nights sleep and was able to get a shower and wash my hair. It was great. I know the hotel was completely full but there were no noises to wake me, everything in the room worked including the heat, and I was thrilled to be able to take advantage of this facility. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good rest.

There wasn't nothing that I didn't like. The staff was very helpful and responsive to my needs. Everything was clean and I was able to have a great experience in a stressful situation. I am very grateful.

The staff is just wonderful, very pleasant smell in the lobby to greet you. The room was very clean and big. It was remodeled 6 yrs ago, but everything looks brand new. Refrigerator, microwave, bathroom fixtures and furniture. Lights and cameras in the parking lot that are monitored by front desk, so I felt safe. The outside is nice, just not a spectacular site, but you make up for that with the rooms.

I had alittle trouble finding it at first because it sits down the hill.

This place was very clean and comfortable. Bed was firm and comfortable, as was the couch. Everything in the room was clean and the price was very affordable. Certainly the best hotel I've ever stayed at for the price paid.

Very little not to like. Only things were the water pressure in the shower was lacking a little and the swivel/ desk chair leans back super easily and fast. About bit the dust first couple times I sat in it. Lol.

Check in was quick and easy with hospitable staff. Room was completely clean from the bathroom to bedroom. Hot coffee and snacks were available in lobby. Location was perfect; quiet area, quick access to highways and downtown. Pizza Hut is a 2 minute drive for a quick bite to eat after a long drive, with a gas station a couple streets further. Shopping center with a Dick's Sporting Goods 5 minutes away.

I was able to connect my laptop and PS4 to the HDMI port on the TV, but I was unable to change the input for the TV, so I could not watch YouTube or Netflix on the TV, had to view on laptop screen.

The owner and staff were amazing! They were attentive to our needs as it was derby weekend, they helped give contacts for rides and told us to call them if we weren’t able to find a away back and they’d try to help. We came back to a nice surprise derby gift in our room! Plus they had a spread of food for the guests. The owner was always working and had a smile on his face and happy to help! I feel so bad I never got his name, but he’s doing a great job while motivating and engaging his team to better the customers experience! I travel a lot and have never received service to this level!

rooms were outdated on the first floor but very clean!

The room was clean and quite spacious. I got a free upgrade to a King room, which was nice. The hotel has 24/7 coffee and juices (orange and apple) available in the lobby, which was nice. It is a good value for money.

Nothing critical that I could point to. It will be an added bonus if the hotel has some breakfast available. I had to start early in the morning, and I had to find breakfast outside - yes, there are options nearby, like Subway, Mcdonalds, etc.

I will definitely refer this hotel to others visiting this area. I loved the choice of breakfast bars, muffins, bananas, etc. on our way out in the morning! I also loved the fresh smell every day! The owners were very friendly & met our needs!

I really enjoyed my stay & will stay there again if I’m in the area!

Amazing place! Dia (name of the overnight front desk rep was amazing!) I only spent the night on a long cross-country road trip. The hotel and city was unexpectedly quiet with few clients. I was treated like royalty: price was greatly reduced, Dia without me asking upgraded me to an amazing top-line room and I slept super well. Location is safe and rooms are very well made (I didn’t use much since I came in late, slept and woke up early to left to continue to drive). But this place would be amazing if one stayed for a while to visit the city. One of the best hotels I ever had the pleasure to stay in!

No complaints at all!

clean, convenient location as we were visiting daily close by. The check in was easy. The beds comfortable. Appreciated having a refrigerator large enough to store our perishable food as we were on our way for a week in the Smoky Mountains. ***I had left my Kindle Reader in the room. O was very appreciative of the housekeeper who found it, turned it in to the manager Mike. Ike emailed me asking me to call them so they could arrange to have my Kindle sent to me!!!

Wonderful 💖 front desk people are so helpful. No breakfast but excellent refered to breakfast restaurant 1 min down the street was Amazing. Hospitals everywhere made me feel very safe & comfortable since I have a serious health condition while be pregnant and traveling allowed me rest easier.

A lil to go breakfast would be nice & no fee for a 1-2 hr late check out. Had to boogy in the morning to insure I did not receive a $30 fee.
