Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Convention Center

Meets all expectations and is extremely close to the convention center,

WiFi is good when it works. However, it broke down on one occasion and was not available for almost a day. Annoying.

The Valet parking attendants were extremally helpful with how to navigate the local terrain. I was a little confused about the breakfast arrangements. I could not add a breakfast to my room and had to pay for everything separate. The room and bed was great, I normally get a sore back but didn't with our room. We stayed in 13 different hotels in 21 days and this was our favorite place that we stayed, hotel and town, I would stay again.

I looked for accommodation with parking and did not know I had to pay for it until I got there. I couldn't add breakfast to my booking and had order breakfast separate. The website said breakfast was $12.95 and we were charged $24.95 for a continental breakfast.

AJ in the restaurant was the kindness person, made time to make you feel welcome, understood the stress of travel. I was at location three day and we want to do was get back to hotel to see him. Advised where to eat around location Butcher. Thanks to AJ for our trip 😃 Donna Griffith

I liked everything, especially since some of the reviews had me on edge about booking here. Lol. Check in was very easy, staff very pleasant, lobby clean, room was clean..

Parking for $50 a day . My card was pre-authorized for the first night before arrival which was customary.. Once I got there I swiped again thinking that all nights including incidentals was paid upfront and it wasn't. Somehow at time of my departure (front desk agents from night shift were rude!) I was told my balance was $88 to cover parking, but instead, Corey ran my card for over $300, not to mention there was already a charge pending on my other card. Luckily, it was only some hours before it balanced out, and released back to my card.

The location of the property served our needs perfectly. We were walking distance to our venue and there were several restaurants in the vicinity.

The parking garage was full even though there were several open rooms in the building. I was forced to park in a garage around the corner. When I asked the front desk they were adamant that I had to use this parking garage. I’m not sure if there was an event going on but I found it weird that they were telling people to park somewhere else.

This hotel had the best water pressure I have ever felt.

I paid for breakfast assuming it would be a full breakfast as I am accustomed to when staying at the Hilton but was given a box breakfast instead. I understand that COVID-19 has changed the way we do things, but I should have been informed of that up front.

The location was a doable for a walking the city experience as I came for the Final Four and the team hotel was booked. The tournament price here was more than I wanted to pay or could really afford, but I flew in and could not afford to Uber all over town. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed coffee, tea and cookies in the room. Thick towels were good also.

I can't think of anything, except maybe a shuttle to downtown spots that would run two or three times a day, particularly during big in town events when the hotel if all booked.

Location was good. Room was clean. Cleaning staff was friendly.

Walked up to a locked door and no attendant. Front desk clerk just didn't give clear instructions and was difficult to understand with all the noise and the mask. Didn't like having to request room service. Just tidy up each room and provide clean bath towels each day. Perhaps have a door hanger refusing service rather than expecting guest to take time out of their busy schedule to order room service. Your parking rates were outrageous. Thank goodness for the parking lots that are close by.

The room was nice and clean, the staff at the front desk was very helpful, and the pool was great!

I did not like that there was not parking readily available for all guest. They only provided valet parking for $45/night which way outside our budget. There was street parking available, but it was first come first serve.

Front desk was so friendly and helpful! Went over and above to welcome us, gave my 21 year old daughter a free drink for her birthday, and got us in a room on an upper floor. Would stay here again!!!

I didn't like that we only stayed one night. I would have been super happy to stay here for a week. Keep up the great work!
