Hotel Tonnelle New Orleans, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The location is the draw -- it's right off the St. Charles street car line and close to downtown. The room was nice and comfortable; the staff / valets were very friendly and helpful.

It takes some close looking, but room furniture is worn and things are a tad rough around the edges. It's good value for money, though. Even though it was convenient, the parking cost was pricey. And (something I need to follow up with): it appears was double charged for my room, having booked it / paid here on Booking, then being charged again when giving my card for the "deposit" that was supposed to be removed after my stay.

Loved the location - right in the thick of everything!! Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby - easy to walk around and grab food/groceries. The lobby looked great, nice colours, and cool cafe (though wasn’t open when I was there). Check-in staff was friendly, polite and I waited at the business center until they had a room ready for me - I had arrived early and was happy to wait and charge my phone at the lobby. Room was really comfy and nice - the beds were high and just the right amount of height that I like too. Colours were nice too, everything looked bright and fresh, big TV, comfy pillows and sheets and loved the ottoman at the end of the beds - such a good look and touch! The TV had a good selection and liked how there was a proper table/chair and sitting area. Bathroom was huge! Looked nice and loved the big shower :) I’ll be back, for sure! 😆

service was really wonderful, from the front desk to the her restaurant, to accounting They are undergoing renovations as noted by the signs and the progress seen in the elevator. We were not disturbed by any noise. The sliding door to the bathroom did not slide properly so we just left it half open. The lights on one side of bathroom mirror were out and the living room furniture was ok but a bit sparse without sleeper sofa The sofa was too small to sleep on The bedroom was huge and beds comfy. We were on the 4 th floor with a view of St Charles street which was great!

At first look once we got into the room, I was a little worried about quality The bathroom door was off track and had scratches at the base ( from a dog ?) and half the mirror lights were out ( on one side) HOWEVER, the service was wonderful and friendly. I am not hesitating to rebook this hotel for our next trip

Great location for us! Not right in the middle of the City which we like but convenient to public transportation, ie the Trolley. Also, it was nice and quiet. Lastly, a nice little restaurant with very good breakfast food. we didn’t try dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff.

My daughter noticed a lot of dust underneath the bed and it’s probably getting time to get a new mattress, at least in the room we were in. No on site parking, but valet readily available.

The hotel location close to downtown was great and the hotel itself seemed very nice.

There was something going on with their computer system that slowed down the check-in process. It was also down the following morning when I was checking out so they were unable to print out a receipt and were taking names and email addresses to send after the fact; I still have not received it.

the housekeeping, room was barely touched for 5 days, had to ask for coffee, trash bags, toilet paper . Items were given to us in the lobby to carry upstairs . The rooms need a fridge

Awesome location, suite was huge and wonderful (but overpriced especially for the low season and Covid), extremely dog-friendly staff and hotel, staff that went absolutely above and beyond.

Price of suite on a Saturday night in the low season, couch in suite was pretty dirty/stained, bar was still closed (and seating closed off), no housekeeping (only by request could you get towels, soap, TP, etc). Only one valet on a Saturday at check-in…cars backed up forever as you must use valet to park at the hotel. I think a lot of these issues are due to Covid, however, and not the employees.

The staff were friendly and helpful! The rooms were also very clean and spacious. A lovely place and great value for the price

fitness center could have been a little more updated. The treadmill was hard to work with and there’s only one of each machine, but otherwise it was nice

The location of the hotel was great. Hearing the Sound of the trolley car bell passing. New Orleans authentic food, sights, and the shops. And walking down the streets of the French Quaters and Magazine Street, where there are nice little boutiques shops.And I recommend if you do go there eat at Ruby Slipper restaurant great breakfast especially their smoother biscuits and gravy. 🙂😋. And overall ppl was nice, and because we're coming out of the Pandemic ppl were still showing love and concern about wearing mask even with restrictions being lifted. New Orleans what a great time and experience!!!!
