Hampton Inn New Orleans/St.Charles Ave

We stayed for 5 nights in 4 different rooms for a Christmas wedding. The location was excellent and the service very good. The hotel was taking extra precautions because of Covid and required masks inside although I'm not sure it was always enforced, but most people I saw were masking. There were also sanitizing stations which was nice. We didn't request room cleaning but were able to get clean towels, etc. whenever needed. The staff was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was good with lots of options - including hot foods like eggs, omelets, bacon or sausage and biscuits.

I was pretty happy so nothing I can think of that I didn't like.

Booking.com messed up my reservation for the second time in less than 3 weeks. I updated my credit card on the site but it was not updated through the hotel. My reservation was almost cancelled. When i got there to check in they said my card couldn't be authorized. When i showed them the card on booking, the hotel had not been update. I lost my King Deluxe room and had to take a queen double. All they had left. Booking.com use to me my favorite site to book through, but after these last two incidents I don't think i will use them or refer them to anyone. Aside from Booking.com's error, the hotel was nice. Next door to Superior Grill and close proximity to a strip mall.

The Hotel was clean and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this hotel. The location was great. We could go for walks down St. Charles. The on site parking lot worked well for us due to rental car. My only con would be that there were only 4 lounge chairs at the pool and there was a family that would put towels out in the morning and use the chairs all day. Even if they went up to the room for an hour they would save the 4 lounges. I would have liked to have an hour or so to lay in the sun. We were able to use the other chairs to sit in but there could be more lounge chairs possibly. Other than that we loved the hotel for convenience and cleanliness.

The staff went out of their way to help us understand the transportation the RTA. The breakfasts were a wonderful with changes every day. The staff went so out of their way to help us. I was took a maintenance person for a housekeeping person but he took my trash and got me new bags even though that was not his job. Quarterly and Wanda for absolutely fabulous. The cards had flat tires but I mean that's nothing

Security to rooms was impeccable!! Elevators don't move unless you have a key card, I love it! Hotel is right on St. Charles Ave... Great access to the trolley system, restaurants, and beautiful historic places all in walking distance.

I guess I expected more from Hampton inn. I like the grab and go breakfast but only oranges for fruit and no bagels and cream cheese to go. Pool was much smaller than it appears in the picture.

Hotel great, staff needs more direction as upon arrival we were told after checking in to walk back outside to parking lot and enter. we didn’t have a car, we’re dropped off by a cab. Gal on desk should have told us where elevators were! Day before we were leaving we asked to have a wake up call to leave for airport early. Did not receive a wake up call. Loved hotel but staff should be trained better!

The room was clean and updated, as were the hallways.

There was no lobby due to the hotel being under construction. The breakfast was very minimal and there was no place to sit and eat.

Property was being renovated so the lobby was closed, front entrance was closed. Check-in desk was at the back door. Breakfast was grab and go.

It was a very pleasant experience for us and the kids. The pool was fabulous.the staff and other guests were very nice and friendly. They made our stay feel like we were valued guests on vacation. Mrs. Tonya made my kids feel very special as she was very supportive and attentive to their conversations and interests ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👋☺️🙏

Great location in the middle of the Garden District. St. Charles line Trolley stop about 50 yards from entrance. inexpensive way to get down to French Quarter. Close enough to walk to restaurants on Magazine St and area where most of Mansions we're.

Breakfast was good some days and not others. We had a tornado warning one night and there was no guidance from staff on where to go.
