Best Western Historic Frederick

The hotel itself is in a good location. It is right next to a shopping center with a supermarket, liquor store and a few restaurants. The hotel is also a very short drive to Nymeo Field where the Frederick Keys play as well as to the vibrant downtown area. The breakfast was very good (Eat early! It seems to get very crowded as the morning goes on!). The staff was absolutely dynamite! The desk clerks were very friendly and helpful with recommending things in the area.

The bathroom is very tiny. The bed was just a bit too soft for my tastes.

The room was nicely appointed and very quiet, as was the facility. The staff were exceptional--friendly, competent, eager to help. I'm normally not a fan of motel breakfasts, but breakfast was excellent.

Room was newely remodeled. Beautiful bathroom. Room was immaculately clean. I told the night clerk we checked in with that we would be leaving before breakfast and she got me 2 bags with breakfast in them to go with us ( how nice was that) . Although we only were able to sleep 4 hours it was wonderful the bed was sooo comfortable the room was the perfect temperature the minute we walked in. I love that the sink and mirror are separate from the bathroom as I could do my make-up while hubby was taking a shower. Lighting was very good also. Thank you.

My only complaint was the lack of pressure in the shower. But hey you can't have everything.

The room was nice and cool for the night, clean and comfortable. The check-in and out process was very easy, and the staff was friendly. It was located relatively close to a shopping area where we could get a quick bite before settling in. We didn't check out the breakfast but opted to go out nearby the next morning. All in all, we had a safe, comfortable, clean place to stay while out of town.

There are several entrances, but the door near where we parked would not open, even with the room key. I suppose it's for safety, but we had to take a longer way around to get into the building. The bathroom was super small and there weren't any tissues. Since we were only there for 1 night, it wasn't a huge inconvenience.

Jeni at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. This was so helpful to my husband and I. We greatly appreciate it and hope she gets promoted soon! She is AMAZING!

Can you add YouTube and Hulu as accessible apps on the TV? I really like the Netflix, Showtime, and channels that are available through Direct TV.

Pool, great staff (Jenny) & housekeeping. Very close to downtown. This is an older hotel and shows some wear and tear but location is great and rooms are clean. Normal, average hotel breakfast. Great value. 6 minutes from main street. Would def stay here again.

Very friendly staff, who were quite helpful in checking in, and navigating to get some food. Room was very clean and comfortable. Parking was great pulling a truck and trailer

They was not anything on this property that we didn’t like. Nothing at all. Will stay here again. Guaranteed if we are ever in this area again

Breakfast was excellent and well presented. The two women at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful! Kim checked us in quickly. We had a missing lightbulb in the room and it was corrected immediately. A wonderful place!

We appreciated the ambiance in the room but maybe a little higher bulb wattage or another lamp might make it easier to read. Thank you so much for a great night

Convenient to downtown Frederick. Clean and efficient.

The volume didn’t work on the tv in the gym and we couldn’t figure out how to get the treadmill to work. It was a bummer because it was raining and I didn’t want to run outdoors.

The room was comfortable and clean. I was surprised how quiet it was. I thought we would hear people going to the breakfast room but we were able to sleep in.

The bathroom was small and outdated. A larger person would have trouble maneuvering in and out of the shower/tub due to how close the toilet is located.
