Hyatt Place National Harbor

All the staff that I encountered at the front desk, both day & nigh shift, were great. Very courteous and always greeted us when they saw us & asked if everything was ok. My family stayed May 31-June 1. Very clean facilities. Gym was really nice. Location was great, right at the harbor and lots of shops, restaurants around the hotel. There was also a gentleman at the breakfast bar early in the morning who was also very courteous & made sure we had everything we needed. I appreciate a smiling, happy & friendly staff, it goes a long way in making us feel welcome.

Parking is $20 a day. Which is reasonable. But we were told if we left and came back we would incur an additional $20 fee fee each time. That part isn’t fair. I feel the hotel should be able to make it so that we don’t pay more than $20 a day if we’re staying at their hotel.

The rooms were really nice. It was enough space for me my kids. Everything was nice and clean. Your staff was very nice and professional. One of the housekeeping staff she couldn’t understand English well so she went out of her to find someone who could so they could help us. The restaurant staff was very kind. The managers on duty went over and beyond to accommodate both me a my family. The location was excellent. Walking distance to just everything!!!

Restaurant would run out certain foods or the kitchen would close earlier than expected time. I get it…there were several family reunions that were being hosted at the hotel. Just anticipate to buy more food to accommodate the people.

The one thing I do not like about national harbor is no parking. If I pay to stay at a hotel, I should not have to pay to park. There should be a parking voucher or something.

Great location a nice size room we had a view of the river the waterfront, bathroom shower was great . Breakfast free it was a decent buffet, bar had happy hour Monday through Friday and the onsite restaurant had a nice menu selection.

No swimming pool!!

There is a self-service laundry room on level 7. You need coins (USD2) each for the washer and the dryer. There is also a microwave and ice dispensing machine at each level. The iron is available inside my room without having me request it from the housekeeping service. My room was overlooking the Ferris wheel and the harbour. The view during sunrise and sunset was amazing. The location is great too. It is about a 5-minute walk to the nearby Gaylord Convention Centre. There are a few restaurants (2 halal) and a gift shop nearby for tourists or those who are travelling for work to buy some souvenirs to bring back home.

The breakfast could be more varied. I had to stay for four nights, while my colleagues stayed for 6-7 nights as they are attending a conference.

It's a standard hotel. No fancy things, but everything works as it should in a standard hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean room with all basic things (coffee maker, fridge, hairdryer, ironing board, etc.).

The only thing, and it's not the hotel's fault in some sense, is a very noisy location. Seems like National Harbor (and specifically this place) is loved by youngsters practicing night life. In addition to this street noise I saw a few police cars standing, or driving with signal. Not a problem in general, but perhaps worth considering when booking.

It was a Great location. Very clean and awesome staff. Wonderful view for breakfast in the am option to sit outside. Bar a nice set up, snack area. Exercise area and business area too. Walking distance from the riverfront, stores, and restaurants.

Very few things I didn't like. I wish we had the option to have a microwave not having to use the one where the ice machine was located. Also, parking had to pay at a garage not far but didn't see why the hotel and garage didn't set up a way for guest to pay one fee and have access to the garage also would have been better too.

Location, scenery, variety of food options, Mgm Casino and Outlets so close.

We had to walk to Gaylord for shuttle. All the hotels should offer shuttle and parking should be free.

The Hyatt hotel was great! The breakfast was exceptional and I love that they change some menu items daily. The exercise room was great and clean and has all the necessary equipment; I used it daily. I appreciate the snack bar prices ($1-$3). Our room was clean and roomy with a sofa area; the view is amazing right on the water. Nice to have an on site restaurant. Check-in and check-out was excellent.

If you have some extra space you could create a game or billiards room. There's nothing that went wrong during our stay.

Front desk staff was always alert and helpful. (Alaysia and Aquibual especially) . Nice gym, great location near the running trail. Breakfast was very good, well served, good variety and free! Room was clean, comfortable

Road noise is bad on the street side, lots of cars and bikes roaring load mufflers that comes right into the room, at least on the second floor. The opposite side charges more for a view. There is a strange form you have to fill out when you check in regarding "no parties"- I found that weird
