Days Inn by Wyndham Alexandria South

The room was clean when I arrived and serviced by housekeeping daily (an anomaly these days). Hot water was readily available. Amenities such as microwave and mini-fridge added to the value. The hotel staff, from the front desk to the breakfast area to housekeeping are all pleasant and accommodating.

The exterior areas could use better cleaning. The concrete walk on the main level to the front stairs and the stairs themselves would benefit from a good power-washing. The complementary internet service is on-again/off-again at times and even in centrally located rooms the signal level can be quite low, possibly contributing to the reliability.

Check-in was a breeze, very nice staff, answered all my questions. Room was very clean and relaxing. No problems with parking, and breakfast was great, and variable food selections.

Only thing that I feel could be better is to allow people to take their breakfast back to their room, because some people may have anxiety eating in the dining area around others, or someone might have a disability

The room was comfortable, won’t lie, it looks sketchy from the outside. I’d say they could use some upgrades, but for the price, it was fair. my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. really comfortable actually as I usually wake up with back pain and didn’t here. 4 minutes from the train, so perfect. I ordered Chinese food and it came quickly. usually is a place is to bad, restaurants won’t deliver lol.

Benjamin was amazing! I have a service animal but because his breed I get eye brows raised, he didn't even flinch! If the price is right I'll MOST DEFINITELY choose them again!

The room I originally rented was not the room I reserved, however again Benjamin helped out. The bathroom was really small but other than that it was good.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was very comfortable, and great location. Room was ready at the time it indicated it would be between 3 & 4pm. Breakfast was tasty considering we're still in Covid-19. Business Center was nice.

Need more lighting in the Business Center. Didn't realize this Days Inn was a Motel, and not a Hotel. Didn't like I had to go outside to my room. Didn't like the that ice machine was outside. When going to the Ice Machine, didn't feel safe because the tree was too big and almost hanging over the the path you walk on for the third floor.

The room/beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Greeted very respectfully upon arrival

The wifi didn't work. Also, the room smelled of smoke. I had a non-smoking room, but the residual odor from the surrounding room affected my room. I had to buy room deodorizer from nearby convenience store

The staff was very professional. The room was a nice size for the price and was very clean. The internet worked very well. The air conditioner also worked very well, which was a plus since it was over 90 degrees during my stay.

The bathroom was very small and needs updating. The selection of TV channels was smaller than other hotels that I have stayed at. The elevator was out of order for part of my stay (no biggie).

I Have been Staying At This Same Hotel Everytime We Come To The Alexandria Area For Almost A Decade And Will Continue To Book With Them.

You'll Need More Channels On The T.V And T.V Guides In The Room So You Won't Get A Headache Trying To Find Channels
