Sheraton Suites Old Town Alexandria

Room was excellent. Parking instructions need to be explained in more detail before entering garage for the first time. Location ok. Would have been nice to have a shuttle to downtown Alexandria, airport, etc.

Female clerk at desk was not friendly, working on cell phone while we stood there waiting without any recognition from her, like Be with you in a minute. Finally answered our question, but seemed like she'd rather be doing something else.

Bfast cost over $17 so we didn't eat. Nice location. Lots of great walking and eating opportunities. Nice grocery store next door. Nice areas to hang and talk in lobby. Staff were help. Room clean, well laid out.

Parking was over $30 per night. The bottle of water in the room was labeled $8! Very few amenities considering the cost of staying there. No microwave in room.

Breakfast was good, however when I tried to reach someone to place our order, it was difficult to get someone on the line. I had to go downstairs to pick up food only to find out it buffet only. They did allow me to take it up to the room because my friend was still in bed.

The pet accommodation and the newness of the rooms. Very quiet and convenient to a grocery and ABC ( 1/2 Block away) stores. Could walk to downtown river parks and restaurants.

Th3 best. Staffe was outstanding, facilities were clean and quiet and convenient to Washington DC and OldeTowne Alexandria. One thing however,they assumed at check in we would park in their garage for $35 a day and charged my folio. I told them we didn't use their garage and they removed the charges. They shouldn't assume that charge when you check in. Still waiting on final adjustment. Other than that Joseph was exceptional as was the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend staying there. We will return.

I would like to highly commend Joseph, the front desk clerk. His customer service demeanor has always been outstanding during my four previous stays including this one. He was extremely attentive to my concerns when I had to change my room shortly after checking in. He is an excellent example for all of the staff. The fitness center is outstanding in every respect. That is always the highlight of my stays.

For the some reasons the refrigerator in the rooms during my previous stays including this stay has not been cold enough to keep any food items cold to freezing. The rooms not having microwaves are a negative.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was great.I would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately there was construction noise 9 am -5 pm and our window was covered with plastic. . The good side to that is we were out of the room exploring Alexandria during those hours and the property will look even better the next time we are there.

Booking experience, cleanliness, and overall stay.

Breakfast was confusing. Since we used booking.com, the hotel was not notified that our breakfast was to be included in our fees. Hotel was going to charge us until we had this corrected at the front desk.

First trip since Covid began last year...found Sheraton Suites Alexandria to be SUPER SUPER clean...front desk really made us feel welcomed checking in. She helped answer our questions and offered suggestions...friendly and responsive. Room was like a mini suite. Bed was comfy shower hot...if you want more towels, plan ahead to get them and they will be provided. No maid service until you leave. Breakfast area had a limited but good range of fresh and made to order things... coffees, muffins/croissants, ham/cheese omelet, or eggs with bacon and toast. Food was hot and delicious...We enjoyed the comfy clean seating area to relax and sip our cappuccinos. Staff again very hospitable and took care of us. Since Covid began, many restaurants resort to plastic silverware and plates...not a fan...We enjoyed our breakfast on lovely plates with real silverware rolled in real napkins...it's the little things! Alexandria area has lots to see...just walk in any direction...Potomac and all kinds of restaurants and shops 5 min walk ...you don't need a car...if you get tired, call an Uber takes 10 minutes. This property gets 5 stars. They are visibly taking steps to maintain a clean, safe, inviting place to stay.

Cozy bad, amazing shower, good location, not far from beauties like the pier and the Old Alexandria fair.

There was no shower cap in the bathroom, and the AC tends to not achieve the lower marks, in a way that the room stayed low key hot.

The location is wonderful and the room is spacious. We especially appreciate the separate living area— with a door that closes to the bedroom.

The breakfast baked goods always seem dried out and the room seemed a little stale-smelling. could be the disinfectant they use.
