Wingate by Wyndham Waldorf - Washington DC Area

This was the perfect location for my trip. Everything was clean and the staff were very nice. The beds were comfortable and my AC worked well in the room.

I booked this location in the hopes of using their gym and taking advantage of the “free breakfast”. The gym was very disappointing. There were 3 free weights. Two stationary bikes and a cable system for workouts. I never used it. The free breakfast does not exist. I was happy that they at least had coffee in the lobby every morning but I ended up having to spend more money then intended on my food for the week.

The guy who checked me in was a older gentleman he was very nice and knew what he was doing he was such a pleasure talking too and checking me in

The morning shift the younger gentleman with the blonde hair tips breakfast was over at 9:30 the food was still out woke up a little late sent my kids down to see if they could still get breakfast and he was rude and didn’t want to allow them to eat breakfast as if he paid for the breakfast or it was going to kill him to allow the kids to eat that rubbed me the wrong way so I just took my kids out to eat because that was a terrible feeling for them and he wasn’t worrying about the food until they came down to grab something to eat

Bed was super comfortable. 2 out 3 staff members were great.

When I arrived they didn’t have a double room for me like I reserved. My room was missing a light on the side of the bed. When I came back to the room my desk was covered in ants!! Shower shoots out weird. Needs new shower head in room 116. Juice was watered down. Breakfast sucked

I was switched to a different room right away after my complaints. The staff was nice and professional from checking me in, to resolving my room and elevators issue. The room size/furnitures made me feel at home, bed/pillows were very comfortable. Great house keeping staff's.

The prolong renovation, elevator wasn't working properly, my first assigned room was dirty with floor sidings pulling off the walls. Advertising for continental breakfast but there's none.

Location, affordability

We are frequent visitors and walking across the parking lot each day more than once to get ice for my room since the remodel is not good when there's an ice machine sitting in the hall by the elevator that has never been installed.. Elevator was malfunctioning but not a deal breaker.

After checking in and being located in the correct room, the room was found to be clean, smelled great, and had perfect temperature. The staff was friendly, at least the ones I came across.

The location was questionable, but it worked out . The building is being remodeled so there were things out of place, and the hallway carpets were horrible. In short, it served the purpose in a decent way.

Everything was clean and comfortable.

The storm made the fire alarm go off and even though there was no fire we still had to endure the alarm for about 5 hours and it was only on my floor and there supposedly were no more rooms on the other floors

The front desk attendant Rose. She was awesome! Warm breakfast, comfortable mattress, strong wifi, great location, surrounded by lots of restaurants & malls, great value for the price.

Nothing. I was pleased with my stay.

Room was nice, bed was comfortable, TV worked, key all times. Warm breakfast

Tiny ants in bed and bath. 20 min. Before breakfast ended food was running out and no juice or milk. No salt and pepper. No one to replenish anything. No sausage one pancake left in machine, cereal but not milk.

The was decent and clean minus the renovations.

The 100 hold you put on my account and booking never mentioned this to me, I found out about the charge when I checked in. No ice machines and no juice, cereal or milk was available at breakfast.
