The room - I liked the two big chairs to sit in, the comfort of the bed, and bathrooms having both a separate shower and bathtub. Also, the TV was excellent. Location outstanidng.

I thought the heavy green curtains were a very pedestrian, and quite frankly an ugly color. But, my biggest complaint was that they had two bottles of FIJI WATER not for a free offering to the guest, but with an $8 price tag per bottle. This amazed me, you pay $300 a night and not only do they NOT offer you a complimentary bottle of water (as all luxury hotels do) - but CHARGE you for it. This really annoyed me and my wife.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Extremely close to the Back Bay station and mere walking distance to the Boston Gardens as well as Boylston, the theatre district, etc. I wanted something that would be easy for us to reach the subway (since we were flying out after just one night) with all of our luggage. Turns out, all you have to do is catch the Boston Logan Express on the Dartmouth side of Back Bay! We just walked 2 blocks behind the hotel and once the bus picked us up ($3 per adult, children 17 and under are free with a paid adult) we were taken directly to our terminal. None of that nonsense of switching lines and then catching another bus to the terminal. The bathroom was huge and I liked that the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were large; none of that struggling with tiny bottles. The beds were full size but extremely comfortable. I have to give a lot of kudos to the valet. He was very kind in taking our luggage a few hours early so that we could run around the city before formally checking in. Extremely polite and courteous young man. Later, when the staff changed, I noted that everyone always greeted us with a smile.

The hotel had a few areas where the wallpaper was peeling, so you could see its age. The outlets were really loose in the room, so I had to unplug one floor lamp to use it to charge my phone instead. I had read online that the hotel used to be the City of Boston police headquarters and had photos from it's historic past, but there are none in the lobby. I love history, and I had been looking forward to seeing this. The shelf in the bathroom is made up of really old marble and it looks like its about to crumble at any moment. Kind of scary to see that. I wish that they had put more washcloths in the bathroom, but it was completely fine.

The bed and pillows were fantastic!

The toilet was way too loud when flushed!! WE would have liked a written guide in the room as to how to operate the TV. We had great difficulty finding Boston news stations !!

The staff was amazing! Very hopefully in giving information on how to use public transport, the location of nearby restaurants, and the best things to see in Boston. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was great. We also liked the complimentary cappuccino machine and hot chocolate.

My room was not as clean as it could have been. There was hair on the floor in the bathroom and a long black curly hair in my shower. But other than the hair, everything else seemed pretty clean. But it did make me nervous about using the water glasses in the bathroom!

Precinct great great food with gluten free items. Very clean hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. Valet is 65$ but we realistically got 2 days of parking for this. Storage is also very nice to hold our stuff while we went to the game AFTER check out. That is a very nice touch.

10$ Uber credit never given if you don't offer it anymore no biggie but remove it from the website. I ordered the room months ago it was very expensive had I waited until the week of I could've gotten it cheaper. Should be the other way around.

Hotel AKA Back Bay effortlessly combines the convenience of location with the charm of Boston's historic architecture. This comfortable hotel, situated perfectly between downtown and the Hynes Convention Center, offers a practical choice for both business travelers and city explorers. While not extravagant, its modern comforts within a historic building provides a unique and pleasing stay. Highly recommended for a dependable and delightful Boston experience!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, though it seemed a little small for the price.

The bathroom was cramped. The hotel could do better in terms of sustainability. The public spaces were way over-airconditioned. We had no reusable glasses in the room (water in a paper cup tastes like paper). I found the bottles of Fiji water in the room especially insensitive. There is no need to fly water around the world when the tap water in Boston (and in most of the US) is perfectly fine.

Room was perfect and bed very comfortable. Electric plugs at bedside did not work and I needed to get out my extension cord to plug into the wall. Wife's room service breakfast was cold as well as my cappuccino (which they deducted). Lobster rolls at the bar were excellent. Grill 29 across the street was terrible and terribly noisy such that I had to wear earplugs. Cappuccino machine in lobby was excellent.

The weather and a hot breakfast for room service.

Loved the coffee in the lobby, loved the location, the hotel itself was beautiful. The rooms were nice. The whole bill was wildly overpriced for the amenities the hotel provided.

No breakfast. The rooms were cute but you can tell some corners were cut on the remodel / furnishing of the rooms. Some things were a little wonky. Wildly overpriced for the amenities the hotel provided.

The moment we stepped out of our Uber -we were greeted with a smile by the valet and then directed into the lobby of the beautiful Loews Boston to check in. We were treated like vips our entire visit. Joseph checked us in and I received a text soon after telling me if I needed anything to text him! Then we went out for a quick bite and the valets cheerfully helped us with a good place and the following morning we were again assisted cheerfully by all of the staff hotel. Our son and his girlfriend joined us for a delicious brunch right at the hotel the next day it was fabulous. The location is excellent. Thank you Loews
