The location could not be beat. The view was gorgeous. I stayed in the room by myself for most nights and it was t he perfect size for that. The furnishings were attractive and there was adequate places to store things.

When my husband joined me, it was too cramped. The room was a bit stuffy although there was AC. The common facilities were nice although I was locked out into the courtyard as my code didn't work to get back in. I could not find the recycle bin. It was not easy to communicate with the Sonder staff without the app, but I was hoping to not to have to load another app on my phone. We couldn't figure out how to use luggage storage after check out since our code would invalidate after check out.

Nice room, I liked having the kitchenette in the room. Nice bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed. Was pretty quiet for being right on Comm Ave. great location for my needs, close to everything in Back Bay and Fenway area.

The TV was a little frustrating, for the streaming services you needed to have your own log-ins. I don’t feel comfortable putting those into a shared device like at a hotel. I did find the cable but it wasn’t easy to use with the remote provided. It would be nice to have a free area to store luggage since the checkin time is later than most hotels.

The room has a kitchenette (with a very clean microwave) which was greatly appreciated. The bathroom, although on the smaller side, was very clean too. I also noticed that the building saves energy by automatically shutting off the HVAC when windows are opened.

I visited during the winter months and had a room on the top floor of the building. According to the thermostat it stayed around 75-77 degrees Fahrenheit which was a bit warm for me (definitely cozy though). This is likely the result of all the heat in the building slowly rising up to the top floors. This is easily fixed by simply opening a window or two which also lets in some fresh air.

space is good. i love the location. great neighborhood. lots of restaurants and cafes and it’s right by shopping area as well. about 25 mins of walking from beacon hill. love the brownstone buildings and plenty of pretty architecture.

missing roman blind from the window. cold air seeping thru the window hits right into the living room. and in the morning sunlight hits right into the couch. barely any coat hanger. scheduled elevator maintenance right around my check out time, and i had a lot of stuff to walk down with from 3rd floor to the lobby, that’s not very convenient at all.

Historic building with lovely renovations set on Commonwealth Ave. Hotel includes a small library of art books and a private patio. Our king suite overlooked the tree-lined avenue. Non-obtrusive service: we came and went and always had fresh towels. I would book again in a heartbeat.

The only thing I didn’t love was breakfast. Might have been bc of Covid, but the offerings were high in sugar and processed and the only coffee option was like a Keurig. But plenty of coffee and breakfast options within walking distance, so we just skipped the in house breakfast.

Loved the location, the style of the hotel, spacious studio room with coffee maker, fridge, and microwave, a few windows for fresh air. Also liked the ease of check-in and check-out. Location is perfect, right by Back Bay shops and Prudential Center, and easily walkable to Boston Common.

Bedsheets were somewhat scratchy, and the hallway noise was a little loud especially for the room next door. Could use a little more lighting in the entrance/lobby area especially as there are no staff around.

Sonder Back Bay was a lovely place to stay. It was central to shops, services and bus routes. The building and room were delightful, and I was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for anyone on business or personal travel as the room allowed for considerable self-sufficiency.

Perfect location and room is exactly as shown in the picture. It was impeccably clean! There is also a fridge, sink, and cabinets for storage which is a plus. I used to app to unlock the doors and it works great. There was also a representative working in the office who was very nice. Definitely not the cheapest price but highly recommended!

The price seemed a bit too expensive but we were very satisfied with everything.

Kitchen in room was well equipped with microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Appreciated that there were plates/cutlery in the room.

Smell of toiletries was unpleasant; coffee in the room was not palatable. The room didn't have a desk/working area. This was unclear in the room profile on the website.

The location was great. Very close to Hynes Convention Center and train stations. The bus stop was also very close so easy access to and from the airport.

The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear late night conversations. Also since the street is right by, woke up in the early morning to the sound to trucks.
