It was in a prime location, right across the street from the Prudential where the convention was being held. I was in room 908 and the bed was the comfiest bed I've slept on in months. I almost wish I could buy the bed for my house.

I did not like how they governed the thermostat at 65 degrees. I am a cold sleeper and just like it cooler in general and 65 was not ideal for me or my spouse. So besides that, the stay was great!

The room was super well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Love the toiletries and the cute rubber ducky! Plenty of accessible outlets, good lighting, nice round table that comfortably sat two. Overall, very happy with the room. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Ended up adding another night to our stay. Front desk didn’t quote as low a price as Booking, but matched the price without hesitation and we were able to keep the same room. Location is great. Easy walk to Bay Bay, South End, Copley & Prudential. Close to many attractions and public transport is very nearby.

The HVAC system cooled the room as long as we kept the thermostat at “plane taking off mode.” It was ridiculously loud. I despise the “destination” or “Resort” fee added on top of the room cost and significant taxes (which by the way are usually hidden until you get the final bill and this fee also has taxes attached). We payed plenty for the room, used none of the facilities (do elevators count?) yet still had an additional $30 a day fee. Disgraceful. Just bill the real amount straight and up front.

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was so spacious and the bathroom was plenty big for two people! We checked in rather late and Michael was great getting us checked in and making sure we were comfortable. We had a breakfast and a dinner at the restaurant - the food was delicious and the server Dylan provided amazing service.

Unfortunately there was some bad weather and we didn’t get to enjoy the pool on the nights we were there. The water pressure in the shower was unbearably high, great for washing hair, but I was a bit afraid of it otherwise.

Spacious rooms, thorough housekeeping, central location and helpfulness bell staff. We also really enjoyed our food and service at Lucie. The housekeeping staff was really great, our room was always spotless and there were three of us with a lot of luggage. The bell staff were also so helpful, we were there moving a kid into a college apartment and had packages delivered there. Total lifesaver.

It is very serviceable but not luxurious, so just know that. We also had some communication issues about the cost of mailing and storing packages. We worked it out but I hate haggling over things and wished they had just communicated things more clearly. We also had to leave for the airport at 5:40am and asked the front desk to request a taxi for us…instead of doing that the front desk guy told us to walk a block and a half with our luggage to a taxi stand down the street! Overall, though, we had a good stay.

The location is great, in a very nice and central part of town with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Also not very far from the airport so convenient when flying in and out of town. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and check-in / out was simple and fast. The room was comfortable and basic. They have the option of 2 beds in the room so can sleep 2 adults and 2 kids if required.

The hotel is old and facilities are basic, i.e., no frills. My room did not have any view rather office windows from the nearby building, all looking in to my room.

The size of the room was great, beds were really comfortable and the location was good. The staff were really pleasant and helpful when asking for information about Boston. The rooms need updating but otherwise a fabulous stay which suited our needs for the 2 days in Boston.

Sadly the rooftop pool area was being renovated (which was one of the facilities that attracted us to the hotel), this is not a negative but would have been nice to know at check in, the restaurant & bar is also closed on a Monday. The bathroom although a really good size needs updating and so do the bedroom furnishings.

Nice public spaces and great restaurant and bar. the food and service at the restaurant were excellent. Comfortable beds and very spacious room. Bathroom had good water pressure. Location was great for what we needed.

Staff were overall polite. We came back fairly late one night, like 10:30 and there was no bellman to help us with some luggage (we were moving a kid out of a dorm). Front desk would not make change for a $20. Room was great except air conditioner was so loud we could not leave it on at night, so that could be a problem in the summer.

Everyone we spoke to or had interactions with were wonderful. Not just polite, but smiling and a pleasure to talk with. The Doormen? Awesome! LOVED our huge window with the table next to it to work at. The set-up of the room was appreciated. I don't always want the tv directly over the desk. The frig was not expected. I always want a frig for cold water and leftovers, which I always have. LOVED the room service. LUCIE Drink & Dine was great as a stand-alone restaurant and Wonderful to have just down the elevator when we didn't want to think about where to go. Menu...perfect.

I know you are celebrating 50 years, so I recognize that! Just little things like touch up the paint, etc. I would have embraced the beautiful black & white marble in the bathroom! Paint the sink stand black and put a striking (color) photo on the white wall opposite the toilet. (Local and/or historic, but a theme in every bathroom) Yes, it's a small space; Go for it! It can take it. I also would like a door on the bathroom for complete privacy. Not everyone travels with their "partner" and don't care. I had my 18yo daughter with me and we both kind of wanted to use to the bathroom in "private". (This was not a "Dislike" review!

Staff was very friendly, especially the doormen. Room and bathroom were beautiful and very clean and offered a good amount of space for 3 people. The location was right across from the Prudential Place mall so it was convenient to get to the shops and then cut through to Boylston.

We weren't given enough shower towels. If the room accommodates 4 people, there should be 4 shower towels. We only had 2. By the time we realized it, we had already started the shower process. I tried calling housekeeping and there was no answer. My daughter ended up using my wet towel. This is not the hotel's fault, but just an FYI that the green line train right outside the hotel is temporarily not in service. The reason I chose this hotel was how close it was to public transportation. Otherwise I would have chosen a more centralized Back Bay hotel - this was on the edge of the neighborhood.

Location was perfect at the heart of Boston, lots of lovely cafes and eateries nearby, Newbury Street, Copley Square and so much more at a stone’s throw away. The staff were extremely accommodating and attentive to our requests. My brother wanted to stay with us a few days and had a horrendous flight into Boston, the hotel had no issue with him visiting and welcomed him once he arrived Norman the doorman was also very kind and saved us taking an expensive Uber!

The TV Chromecast feature didn’t really work, we tried to watch a few Netflix shows via chromecast but the app on the TV kept freezing,
