Sandwich Inn and Suites

This was our second visit, definitely came back because it's we liked it so much before. Rooms are good-sized, clean and updated. Beds were comfy, and it was quiet sleeping even though it's close to a busy road. Love the grounds and plantings. Breakfast room had a nice variety of items.

The only negative comment is that the person behind the desk in the breakfast room was pretty grumpy, but I'm guessing that's because she'd had to cross the bridge through the construction...

Nice to be able to walk out into the open air not into a hallway. Inside is cute, decorated well, good light, a window that opens, plenty of A/C, fan, etc. Bathroom is a good size - beds could be a bit more comfortable but aren't horrible. Cute place, nice grounds, there's a little hammock in the back of the property that was nice to swing on, and the breakfast is good - better than the continental at most hotels (fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, cheese & meat, and the usual).

The room was large and tastfully decorated with large, comfy beds. The shower was excellent with lots of hot water and a shallow bath. Breakfast was a good selection and presented as a buffet. We enjoyed local restaurants and the beach. Good location near Plymouth to see the whales and the historic Mayflower.

It felt very contactless. I only saw a member of staff once to request something. Your keys were left out, breakfast was help yourself and you left your keys when you left. Guess we are just not used to that! Also, we struggled with the throwaway mentality at breakfast, where all the plates, cups, and cutlery were to be used and then thrown direct in the bin! No effort was made to recycle anything. Coming from the UK it seemed very odd and wasteful, and extremely bad for the environment.

What a pleasant surprise. We usually don't book Inns but I am so glad we booked this one. The Inn was updated, contemporary, and had a Cape Cod feel inside and out. It was off the road a bit and had secure entry doors which you don't find much at Inns. The breakfast was great with homemade coffee cakes and cinnamon rolls along with other basic fare. Very quaint and inviting as well. The bed was comfortable and the suite was very well maintained and clean.

Occasionally could hear our neighbor but nothing a little white noise couldn't solve which is typical for most hotels.

It is a motel style accommodation. The rooms are large, but with thin walls. Consideration for others is required from after 10 pm. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping only attends if you require them too, otherwise they do not go in. Breakfast was continental style but more than sufficient as you help yourself. The setting of the property is lovely within the wooded area. Very tranquil and peaceful. Plenty of parking on site. Close to the local restaurants and there are a few to choose from, plus a good Deli just down the road towards Sandwich. Close to local points of interest, the local beaches are fab. Have a look at Town Neck Beach. An excellent area for bird watching and seals. Close to the Whale Watching sites too.

The walls are a bit thin, so you are reliant upon everyone being considerate towards others, which does not always occur.

We loved the landscaping of the property. It was very warm and welcoming upon arrival to a cute little town. Great location, close to shop and stop, the canal and good restaurants. The room had good air conditioning and the fan was a great addition for the very hot heat wave we experienced. The room was a decent size for the two of us. The decor was great, we appreciated the little table with two chairs. The outside had a cute little table with two chairs to relax on outside your room. All staff members were welcoming and friendly. Jenna was great at guiding us on dining experiences. Donna put out a great breakfast and Chrissy was very helpful. We will be visiting again, maybe for a longer period of time.

The bathroom smelled like mildew, maybe some trapped water somewhere? The drain in the bathtub required a huge plug to cover. I would suggest a little table/ luggage holder next to the clothing rack to put your luggage on.

The location was just what we needed. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Wareham but we also wanted to be on the Cape so this was perfect for on/off. The rooms are cute beachy theme and spacious. It was clean and organize nicely. Easy parking, friendly staff and the breakfast was nice. I’m gluten-free and was able to have a nice breakfast and the coffee is great!

We were aware of the housekeeping policy so we understand the need to conserve material and staff and housekeeping can be put off for 2 days but we were there for 4 nights and by the 3rd day our little trash cans needed emptying and the floors could’ve been swept and washed. They did leave a broom and dustpan which we did use but we were on vacation and would prefer not having to. I guess we could have asked for these things when we were there but it was tolerable. Noting it is just a heads up for someone who plans on staying longer than 2 nights.

The place was very clean and quaint. All new bathroom fixtures. Bathroom very clean also. No carpet, so made our room even cleaner. The Owners and Staff are doing all they can taking precautions keeping everything clean and safe during this Pandemic, so we felt good staying there. The place is also well lit at night, so we felt safe there. The place is also near everything we wanted to do and go to. Great Restaurants, bike trail, grocery store beaches and the Christmas Tree Shop. My husband and I will definitely stay there again.

Loved the free breakfast, very tasty! Laundry, vending, ice and garbage are easily accessible. The property is beautiful, full of shady trees and flowers. The room is simple and nice. The bathroom was big and had plenty of places to put things. Nice size tub, have to fill with shower. The beds had nice clean linens but were very hard and full sized, not queen. Plenty of pillows. Nice wall mounted fan besides a/c and heat controls.

Biggest complaint was the outside light shining into the room all night with just a white roll shade and shear white panel between you and the light. I tried covering it and unscrewing the bulb. Neither worked for me.

We liked that the hotel had free parking available just outside the room. The location is nice, in a green area. The breakfast was also good, but it was sweet only, not a continental one.

The check-in should be open until 10 PM. As we were to arrive later, we called the structure around 9:30 PM to inform them about it but no one answered. In the end we got the info by calling the emergency number and everything went well
