friendly staff..check in was flawless and the number codes on the door are great…clean room and facilities…the bathroom was good size and had a skylight that let in lots of light…there is a bike path behind the property that you can access and use their bikes…

no comfortable chair to sit in…the continental breakfast was ok. But the room is a bit too small…the shower wasn’t great. The water never got really hot. not fond of the shower curtains all around the small tub. Better pillows would be great but the bed was comfortable.

Right on the shining sea bike path! Jeanette has bikes for use on the property. Lots of hot water and water pressure. 10 minute walk down the bike path to catch the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. Beautiful pond across the street to catch an early morning swim. Lots of restaurants in town, within 5 minutes.

Would put a brighter spot light on the sign at the street. It’s a little difficult to find in the dark.

I, my mother, and two friends stayed here this past weekend. We were completely and happily surprised to find out the “cottage suite” was an actual cottage, attached to the house, for ourselves. I love both a sense of privacy and like we’re not bothering other travelers. My mom loves country/cottage things and couldn’t stop taking pictures of the rooms. Oh and the bathroom was huge! Jeanette, the innkeeper, was lovely as well. She was friendly and attentive and never felt intrusive.

We loved our stay! Our room was clean and cozy. The property was beautiful. The location was perfect for us. We used the bike trail to walk to town each day. It was about a 20 minute walk, which was perfect for my husband and myself, and our toddler. There is also a beautiful park with a playground and small beach right across the street.

Incredibly charming, very comfortable, well furnished and enjoyable place to stay. The owner Jeanette and her family went out of their way to make sure every need was taken care of: ultra comfy bed, delicious choices for breakfast , beautiful grounds and amenities. Definitely one we will return to and recommend to others!

the location right on the bike trail was what attracted me. it was also very convenient to the old town shopping/restaurant district. the furnishings were lovely!

I didn’t think either the poppy seed cake or the multi colored bagel were good, so maybe change where you get baked goods. the rest of the breakfast was nice though-so a minor suggestion

The friendly, personal touch is what separates a good place from a really great place. As a self check in, having the innkeeper, Jeanette come up and introduce herself is the first thing I want to compliment. The room was cozy, bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up for breakfast... which was also delicious and thoughtfully prepared. 10/10 hospitality.

Came here for a family vacation. Location was great, beaches very close and easy to get too. House is very well loved and thought out with little details everywhere that add so much character. I’m a big details person, and Room was absolutely spotless. We loved the bike path right in the back yard. Requested an extra cot for my son, which was not placed beforehand. When I asked about it, it came right away and was set up and was absolutely adorable with all the little pillows and cozy blankets. Linens were soft and cozy. Really enjoyed the makeup towels! The included breakfast is a continental with muffins and fruit that is left out for snacking anytime. I will say I thought the included breakfast would be more from booking online description, but the freshly baked goods were absolutely delicious! We did order breakfast, and it was SO good! We ate outside on the cute patio, amongst the plants and flowers, and it was just beautiful. The inside dining was decorated so beautifully also. My son also enjoyed the game selections, we played so many of them. The love, dedication, and maintenance of the inn truly shows, and makes this a wonderful unique place to stay.

We thought there was a private beach from the booking. There is water across the street, not visible though. The beaches however are very close and we greatly enjoyed them, and this would deter us from staying!

The hostel is beautiful and very well maintained. The owners were very welcoming and even agreed to lend us a parasol from their garden table to go to the beach. They also give us logs to make a fire. We really enjoyed the place !

There is no recycling since the owners seem to pay for the service. Codes to enter the room could be emailed rather than printed on paper.

Beautiful property with quaint and extremely clean rooms. Very organized ~ hospitable with muffins in a basket at check in. Coffee station upstairs. Nice balcony on 2nd floor to sit with coffee and nice places to sit in the backyard as well. Would definitely return.
