Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Great Barrington Lenox/Berkshires

Great hotel in a lovely town. Very large room, with comfortable bed and clean and smelling good bedding. Large shower and plenty of cosy towels. Provide soap, shampoo and everything you need. We stayed for one night on the way north. The receptionist was very nice, and recommended us a Crowe café when we were looking for. The hotel has a heated pool and jacuzzi that made our evening unforgettable. There is also a gym not big but perfectly adequate. The check-in and check-out process were quick and accommodating. Great value for the price.

Everything was excellent. Breakfast was typical American, meaning carbohydrates and fats without any vegetable. I would add vegetables for those who want to keep them healthy.

Accommodations were magnificent. Room was spacious, immaculate and easily accessible from front or back for ease of hauling gear. Better than average size mini fridge was excellent, Microwave was also very handy. Didn't use the pool facilities, but they looked equally immaculate. Breakfast was fantastic. I imagine it normally is more of a buffet, but due to lingering covid operations it was served at your request for dining there on in room. Coffee was delicious as were the scrambled eggs, bacon, juice, toast, etc. And the server was most friendly and inviting as were the front desk staff as wll.

I didn't mind that it was a 15 -20-minute ride to my ski area since my clinics begin early, we are always on first chairs, so travel was not an issue and I would gladly stay here again for future events.

We stayed with a group of ca 30 people and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Everyone in our group liked their rooms and since we had 20 kids with us, the gaming room and the pool area were a big hit. The hotel's location is perfect to reach Butternut skiing (8 min) and the lovely town of Great Barrington (4 min) with its lovely shops and stores. Just across the street is a super market and GB Brewery is also walking distance. The front desk deserves a special compliment for their friendliness and help setting up our little party in the breakfast room.

Just one little detail: The breakfast should offer some sort of Joghurt and maybe pancake or waffles.

The staff was really friendly and nice! The pool was big and clean. The room is big for two moms and two kids and clean too. The beds were very comfortable. Easy parking. The hot breakfast is a level up from the continental breakfast with eggs, bacon, and sausage, but it's not something fancy you'd ordered in a restaurant. But it was quick and simple for us to enjoy before we head out to the ski slopes. There were other families staying with young kids as well, so we chatted a bit during breakfast. A really wonderful place to stay. Would definitely return.

The property was located in a very nice location just outside of city center that was easily accessible to local restaurants and attractions. The staff was friendly and at your service something many in the service industry have forgotten. The rooms were clean and the hotel was up kept.

I have absolutely no complaints about the property. The only thing that would have made it better would have been an outdoor gathering area perhaps with a fire pit or fire place.

Breakfast was great. Always important to me to have breakfast available when traveling. Great variety of food and drink, very kind and helpful attendants at breakfast.

I found the TV controller confusing to use with the choices available on the TV.

Much better than the average Fairfield and convenient to everything we did there.Ataff very helpful and facility is modern and updated. Fresh blueberries for breakfast!

The breakfast staff was unusually friendly compared to other hotels. They asked if we wanted more food before the buffet closed and cleaned up our dishes without being asked. I haven’t experienced that service before.

Staff couldn't be more accommodating, welcoming or helpful, especially front desk Robin and Steve, plus breakfast room supervisor. Very comfortable room, and nice and warm despite 10F temperature outside. Very good hot breakfast plated for you to protect against Covid risk, because food is not exposed to public as in buffet style.

I liked how all of the employees were super friendly and inviting. It was obvious that they truly wanted me and my family to enjoy our stay at this hotel. If I visit Great Barrington again, I would love to make this my go-to hotel.

I really couldn't find anything here that I didn't like.
