Hampton Inn Haverhill

There was a mix-up with payment when I was checking in which was very upsetting. Anne-Marie was very nice and helped me to work something out. I was there for a funeral and also was in an accident on the way, so it was already a upsetting day. I was very upset. She was very calm which helped me and she held my room until I could work something out. She did not make me feel rushed at all. Luckily everything worked out fine. Thank you Ann Marie I appreciate your kindness.

You really need to have at least a small microwave to warm up food at least . Furnishings are are a bit old. Lamp shades on upside down and held on with electrical tape. Not being informed when someone would be working outside my window. Since there's no housekeeping it would be nice if someone stopped to at least empty trash and give towels. There was no way for me to contact the front desk so I had to leave my room go down stairs to ask for whatever I needed. I will say everybody at the front desk was always very pleasant and nice.

The staff was very pleasant and patient. They were handling a huge amount of check ins when I arrived. There was a cheerleading competition nearby I guess. I overheard some guests and they were a bit cranky (from the traffic not due to the staff). I was impressed the people checking them in...they were professional and courteous the entire time and kept their cool. In this day and age, it was refreshing to witness that.

A little off the beaten path to get there though right off the highway. Also the humming sound coming from the bathroom vents was a bit loud at times but overall it wasn't too bad. That's the only negatives

The rooms were comfy and big enough. I really enjoyed it because I was able to take my pet with me. The breakfast was good. The beds were very comfortable. Both room and bathroom were very clean. The cleaning staff was very friendly.

The receptionists need to be friendlier and more hospitable. There were some guests who were smoking near the door when we got there at night. I wanted to take advantage of the pool but because of the hours, I was unable to. The pool hours should be from 6am until 12:00 midnight.

The room was clean and bed comfy. The hot breakfast was outstanding. It was near the highway for us to easily go where we needed from there (between Boston downtown and Manchester NH ).

I was using the sofa bed - it was marginally comfortable - I hit the rods wrong a couple of times ! Room was tight quarters with the sofa bed open - we had to move the desk and chair to fit. Parking was difficult to find on weekend - they were fully booked on the holiday weekend.

Breakfast ok, not great but the people were nice and very helpful. Location was handy on our way to where we needed to go.

Breakfast could have been better. Biscuits were really dry, sausages overcooked, but if there had been sausage gravy for the biscuits no one would have cared;-). Tea was awful. Water not hot enough to brew. No good real tea choices. Only the silly little thimbles of half and half. No Splenda which is the most popular sugar substitute. Only the awful ones. But it was food so… ok.

Breakfast we're always out on time hot and well prepared. The staff kept the area very clean. Definitely one of the pluses of this stay

Although it's great to have hot water in your room, if you weren't careful this hot water was dangerously hot!

The breakfast was fabulous, the room was beautiful, the staff was friendly and welcoming, especially the woman handling the breakfast area.

Not a thing. Good Job, we will always look for a Hampton Inn to stay in the future. This particular one was exceptional, we hope the rest are like that as well.

I only ate breakfast one day of my stay and it was very good.

The view from my room, it was some sort of business yard and I could hear equipment going all the time and I could hear the freeway.

Breakfast, room comfort and parking were all very good. Good location to help you go to Newburyport, beaches and N.H coast

Only one elevator was working. This was inconvenient and dangerous. Pool was very small.

Very clean. I booked 2 rooms and both have bathtub. Nice and clean bathroom. Room are a bit dark but ok. Breakfast has hot menu. Bed is very comfortable. Location is convenient because close to highway entrance/exit.

Around hotel has car dealerships and many trucks are parked side road. We have been noticed pool was closed when we checked in.
