From the check in process to the checkout process it was a breeze. Jessica was the front desk lady that checked us in. She was nice and helped my wife and I check in. Our reason for being there was because we were misled by one of the 'historic' hotels in Petoskey (with their closet sized rooms) and were looking for alternate accommodations. She made sure she answered all the questions and and let us check the room out so that we would have a satisfying stay. She described all the amenities available and was very helpful. Our cleaning crew (we stayed for three nights) were good and like elves were in and out in our absence!! Our check out process was friendly and quick as well. Excellent breakfast arrangement and a lot of parking. Nice and clean facility. Great job !!

The hotel was clean, the staff so friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The pool and hot tub area very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was great. The staff was kind enough to unlock the dining area for us in the evenings during our stay so our group could play games and hang out and eat pizza. We can’t say enough about the friendly staff!! Camille was a gem. We drove to Petosky which is a very short drive from the hotel. We also drove to Charlevoix to check out Friskies. The weather was rainy so it put a damper on some of our plans, but coming back to the hotel each night was a welcome reprieve.

Friendly service. Coffee was available in the lobby early in the morning, so I could enjoy my morning coffee and not disturb my sleeping family. The couch in the nook was also a nice area to have to enjoy the morning. The breakfast had a good selection of both hot and cold options. My Kid really enjoyed making their own waffles on the waffle iron, if the pancake machine was working that would have made their day.

The room was poorly lit even with all the lights available. The pool was a little to cold and hot tub was a little to hot and the jets barely worked. The texture in the pool areas concrete is hard on the feet. The bed are extremely hard.

Location is great. Was nice to have a room with view of the water. Pool area is big and clean. Kids love it. Breakfast area also big with lots of seating and clean. Breakfast itself also pretty good. Room price was very reasonable for this visit. Loved that there were dispensers in shower for shampoo, conditioner and body wash so we could use what we needed.

Beds/pillows could be a touch more comfortable.

Coffee too weak but I find that is common in motels. Location was out of main town but since everyone seemed to drive it was short distances to everything by car. Main thoroughfare beside hotel was noisy during the day but dropped off in the evening so that it did not affect my sleep.

The location was perfect for my needs. Room was clean as well as hallways and grounds. Pool and spa area were well kept. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was varied and well presented and good to eat. The dining area was clean and well tended.

I have no complaints. Opening windows in the pool area to vent the chlorine smell and take some humidity out. I light above the entry door to the room would illuminated the closet area. That's about all I can suggest.

Great location: Lake view minutes from Petoskey center at a very reasonable price. Very clean and comfortable. Exceptional, friendly hard-working staff. When I left to attend to an emergency back home and left a valued item behind, they notified me before I realized it was missing. When Jessica learned my circumstances, she went out of her way to ship the item to me…on her day off. Special shout out to her!

Staff was terrific, rooms were very clean, and breakfast was good.

The pool. The pool is in very poor condition. I was very disappointed considering the other accommodations were very clean. I love to swim, but was very turned off by the pool, the sides, floor and filters need a deep cleaning!

The location was great. It actually had a really nice view. It was no frills and the price was great.

It doesn't have an elevator and we were on the 2nd floor with a lot of luggage for our family of 5. It wasn't bad because it wasn't that many stairs. It just would have been nice to know ahead of us booking.

Very clean and bright. The attendent was excellent. Waffles were offered but no breakfast meat or eggs . The mini danishes were extremely dry. Coffee was wonderful

There was no elevator and I was not told until check in. I have a disability for steps but I booked a second floor with a view of the bay unknowingly there was not an elevator. We travel a lot and never ran into that before. The desk attendant found us a 1st floor room with a dampness problem but she but a dehumidifier in the room. No one on the service staff ever emptied it for three days. I guess that was our job.
