Hometown Inn Indian River

Hometown Inn was in my opinion, the best hotel stay i have ever had. They allow access to the breakfast room 24/7. The pool and hot tub were always clean and had plenty of towels. They had snacks and quick food items for sale right in the lobby. The owners and staff were super friendly. My parents and brothers have stayed here before and have always had a great experience.

The turn in off the main road could use a little help. It's not rough it is just really close to the exit ramp from 75. It can easily be missed if you are not familiar with it. It is paved and has a good streetlight.

Location was great . Short trip to many restaurants and bars, ice cream shops. The pool was fantastic we swam everyday. The water was clean and easy access. There was a nice park on the grounds where we could sit , barbeque and play . I recommend it. The rooms very comfortable.

I have no complaints.

We left a sleeping wedge behind after checkout, but didn't discover the error until we got home. Called right away and asked if they would hold it for us until a friend (who lives in the area) could come get it. They said yes, and all is well. So friendly and pleasant to deal with. Also, the free breakfast was very nice. Good selections. Great to be able to have a toasted bagel again while traveling now!

Someone parked in one of the handicapped spaces without proper credentials. This infuriates my wife, who walks with a cane and recently had hip replacement surgery. We talked to the desk clerk, who said she'd look into it and report it to the police if necessary. With two more major surgeries upcoming, my wife's joints don't need the extra wear and tear.

last night stay we can back and my wife and another guest slipped and fell on the back sidewalk. could not find anyone at front desk to let them know. I went out and salted the back sidewalk myself to prevent anyone else from falling

Room was somewhat clean. It was surprisingly quiet for being next to the freeway.

Mattress was soft. Felt like I was going to roll out when I laid near the edge. Window wasn’t lockable, it appears part of the locking mechanism was missing. Stains on chair.

Staff was great though they were understaffed - they worked hard - I forgot to ask for 1st fl rooms - hard for my sisters and I to do stairs with luggage - gentleman front desk saw us struggling and he carried our luggage for us ... And he tried moving us to the 1st floor but there were no rooms available ... He went over and beyond ...

Paid one rate with booking.com - updated the reservation to add another night - it changed the daily rate for both rooms from $135 to $169 :( I guess I need to take this up with booking.com?!?!

Super comfortable beds. Quiet and convenient location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free continental breakfast in sunny welcoming room. Nice pool and hot tub. Small "store" for snacks, necessities and toys was unexpected perk. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Location was convenient, breakfast was average, it was quiet sleeping and room temperature was easy to maintain.

The desk chair had a lot of stains on the back of chair and the seat. I didn't feel safe/clean sitting in the chair.

The property had a very nice breakfast and the staff was very helpful with anything you needed, Would recommend this hotel to others.

It is hard to say there was anything that I didn't like because the experience was great.

The beds were comfortable, and the location was close to town and right off the highway.

There was a musty smell, and the tub faucet had a drip. The room needs to be updated.
