Staff and cleanliness

There was no information regarding what tv channels were available. There was no information about restaurants, local things to do, etc. There was not any information about the restaurant in the hotel and their menu. These little additions would have made our stay a little more comfortable.

The front desk staff and the AM shuttle bus driver were all amazing, helpful and kind. The room was impeccably clean.

The PM shuttle driver, Earle, was a real character. He was feisty and argued with front desk staff in front of hotel guests. He also never showed up for the 6 o’clock mall pick up. My toddler and I were out at the shuttle pickup area at 5:50 to ensure not missing it. I called the hotel front desk three times asking where he was and they told me he’d be on his way soon. My daughter and I sat there until 6:45, so I just ended up calling a Lyft. $12 for a 3 minute ride, when I booked this specific hotel because it includes shuttle service. When I got back to the hotel after taking the Lyft, the shuttle was parked out front, so he literally just didn’t come. The front desk staff was very apologetic and ensured that I was picked up for my other trips to the mall.

The room and bathroom were both very clean, and the bed and pillows were quite comfortable after a flight. The hotel is also super close to the Mall of America, which we wanted to check out. I like that there was an actual thermostat system in the room, not just a unit below the window. There were lots of people staying here but it was very quiet.

The little coffee maker in our room didn't work. We like to have a hearty breakfast, but didn't pay for the one at the hotel. We went to Taste of Scandinavia nearby instead and it was delicious.

Everything about this hotel was excellent, the rooms were clean, the beds were amazingly comfortable, the breakfast was great, we even ate dinner there one evening and it was great too. The entire staff were friendly and super helpful. They had an airport shuttle and Mall of America shuttle so we didn't have to use Uber or Lyft even one time. Location is great, we even walked from the mall back to the hotel one time without issue. Would stay here again and would highly recommend!

Room was nice. We only stayed 1 night but we would use Hilton again to visit the mall.

Van driver ran over my bag. Breaking my iPad. I screamed at him to stop so I could pick it up but he didn’t see me or hear me. He said did I run that over I said yes. Not even an apology. I take responsibility for leaving it there, but an “I’m sorry” would have been nice.

The reception area was nice and cozy despite the cold weather outside. The staff was informative and took some time to visit or just say "hi" if it wasn't busy. It's the small things that people remember. The room was clean and comfortable. During our stay we enjoyed their restaurant which served very good food e.g., beer and wine, flatbread pizza, cesar salad, hamburger/fries. We didn't eat their breakfast, but I bet it would be tasty as well. The waitresses were friendly and fun to chat with. It was chilly if you sat in the area closest to the opening door but there isn't much one can do about that. Enjoy!

One thing-we were on second floor and the hallways needed to be vacuumed. It wasn't terrible and I understand everyone is very busy and short staffed, but it is just an observation. Thanks for all you do!!

Convenient location. Clean rooms and inviting lobby atmosphere. Plenty of open parking and extra elevators. Nice clean amenities such as pool and gym.

The confusing breakfast of whether "breakfast included" was continental lite buffet of cold items or made to order service hot breakfast was included or not. Short staffed in that area where there should have been a hostess there to check what your room included for said "breakfast included ". I was NOT the only guest in that confusion. Weird set up and organization

Room was nice and comfortable.

We asked for washcloths at the front desk and the girl kept saying hand towels and I repeat twice then after the third time I say yes, because thinking she didn't know what a hand towel was vs. a wash cloth. So they brought us up three hand towels, which we didn't even have one the first time. We had three wash cloths??? Just minor thing, but should know the difference. No ice on the second floor, they had them blocked off to use only the one on the first floor. Not sure why each floor couldn't have them??

The staff made my checkin so easy. After an expected delay due to weather, this was just what I needed to relax. The shuttle was a great help- visited the mall and used it to go to airport.

The carpets in the hallways needed cleaning but my room was picture perfect. Since the hotel gets a lot of traffic, I would deep clean more often.

The continental breakfast was misleading when we booked our room that it contained meat like other continental breakfast. The continental breakfast was way over priced. The host (Amber) was the greatest we have ever had she stepped up to the plate when we needed help. She listened to our concerns and did us one better. SHE IS THE BEST. The shuttle driver (Steve) he made sure that we knew how to get around to different places we wanted to see. He checked in before our quest and after to make sure we had a good time. This was our first time to Minneapolis and with the help of these two individuals it was like we were pros getting around town and out of town.

We had a older lady (host) that was the water police. We grabbed two waters and brought over to bar to pay for them along with our bar tab and go to our room foe the night. When she came to bar and was asking if we were diamond members and she was giving us the riot act because we did not buy the waters at front desk. That is when the bartender (Liz) calmed her down and that the waters were taking care of. The two host that Friday night both left the counter when there was a line of people trying to check in. That is why the waters were taken to the bar to be paid for. If the waters are that big a deal put them in a vending machine and that way u dont have to deal with water police.
