Sonesta Simply Suites Minneapolis Richfield

The hotel was very nice. It definitely exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. It's right by the 494 freeway, however the room was very quiet and nice. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate. These days I feel service is lacking for the most part. Not here, the staff went over and above our expectations. Had an issue trying to find a luggage rack to move our stuff inside. They weren't able to locate one after sending several people in search of one. Instead they helped us carry our luggage in! So helpful! Would definitely stay there again if we're in the area.

Coffee machine was out of coffee during our stay. We made due however. That really was the only complaint.

Didn't even know breakfast was served. We were not told anything about a breakfast.

The desk clerk wasn't friendly when we checked in about 5pm. He had my credit card & didn't explain why he would need it as i paid for the room when i booked it & so I asked & he said it was for damages! Seriously, we are super senior citizens & caused no damages, we're too old to damage! The desk people this morning were much more pleasant & personable.

The room was very clean and had great amenities such as a kitchenette if you're staying for several days. Plenty of desk and table space. The location was great!! It's very central. I was not too far from Paisley Park, George Floyd Memorial, Downtown and Mall of America. The staff was friendly and helped me with whatever I needed during my stay. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again!

My only concern was that when I arrived it sounded like my reservation may not be existent. I had some flight problems and did call to make the necessary changes but when I arrived things still sounded uncertain. So that wasn't reassuring but it got worked out.

The manager went above and beyond for us when we had an issue with our room. The manager and staff understood that we had a child with autism that would jump and yell alot. Everything you need is right in the area of the hotel. Perfect 10+

Nothing everything was perfect.

It was a convenient Location, and also had all the extra conveniences of home. It was quiet, and secure.

The 2nd floor smells like cat pee

Everything is perfect here. A superb value. You have a small kitchen in your room, with a refrigerator, stove top, sink, dishwasher, dishes, microwave, etc. Everyone and everything is so welcoming. And BONUS...they are pet friendly!! This is our second time staying here while in The Cities, and it will not be out last. I kind of don't want to leave. LOL.

The area was great as it was near many stores. Also enjoyed the free laundry.

The key cards constantly had issues opening main entrance door even with the replacement. The tub wasn't meant to take baths as the drain stopper would keep popping up allowing the water to flow

Free washer & dryer. Loved having nice plates and glassware, as well as a toaster.

Constant highway noise if room faced hwy. Other rooms were quiet.

I liked that it had a full kitchen and they supplied all of the dishware , everything worked great and we had no issues with the water or the pull out sofa or the bathroom it was all good

The carpet was a little dirty

Very comfortable beds, very quiet, very friendly staff, walking distance to where I wanted to go.

The online description said it had a convenience store but it didn't.
