Edgewood Tahoe Resort

Hotel was beautiful and felt like a high end hotel. Food was great at the Bistro and service was excellent. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Shuttle service was available to taxi us to and from hotel, which was great for the concert we attended. The setting and grounds (including the common areas, fire pits, pool area and private beach) were beautiful and exactly what you’d expect from a luxury hotel

After paying for high end hotel, it was difficult to enjoy some of the accommodations during our stay because it was very crowded and booked out. We did not get reservations in main dining because booked. We did not get to book round of golf even a month in advance because it was booked.

The natural environment in the hotel is very healing, the children are having fun, and the parents are very relaxed

The hotel basically has no service, and there are very few service staff. There is no one who pulls luggage to help open and close the door. The service staff in the restaurant are also very busy, which cannot meet the needs of guests when there are many people. The food taste is average.

We love to stay in Edgewood. It’s our third time stayed there this year. The first two visits are for skiing. But I felt stayed there in summer has more fun! You can book your boat, kayaks, jet skis, pedal boats only for the hotel guests, private beach, wonderful sunset view, activities on the lawn, night outdoor movie, star observatory, morning yoga, high class fitness center…..definitely, the pool, hot spa and s’mores are kid’s favorite! We have to come back soon!

I’ve never said this before, but that was a near perfect stay. A truly wonderful hotel all around. Staff, location, room, amenities and guest experiences were all amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to find everything made me happy. I especially loved the direct access to the lake, the year round pool and the quality of the rooms. The ambiance and lobby were outstanding. We will be back.

Bistro restaurant left a bit to be desired and the staff seemed slightly overwhelmed during breakfast.

The property was super clean and comfortable and everyone was following COVID-19-related protocols. The heated pool was one of a kind! So relaxing. The staff were super friendly.

There was a one-hour waiting time when we used room service and ordered food on a Sunday night. Also for future visitor guests, please be aware since the property is surrounded by a huge golf course, for guests safety they are not allowed to walk or explore the surroundings of the hotel. There is just a small area in front of this property with a private beach that guests can access.

Every employee/team member was amazing, kind, thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities are clean and updated. They have really thought of everything here and we took advantage of most everything they had to offer. The views and lake front and gorgeous. This is a very special property.

There were a shocking amount of children there. I did not realize this was a family resort. It’s great that families have such a lovely, upscale place to stay in South Lake Tahoe, but it was a surprise. I can’t imagine what the pool would be like in the summer when school is out… mayhem! Sadly, the bed and linens were not comfortable for us.

Everything. Grand entrance. Most beautiful breathtaking g lake & mountain views from lobby. Private beach. Amazing lawn for families. Pristine grounds. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Heated pool. Great spa. Perfect location. Several restaurants on site.

What’s not to like?! One suggestion would be bigger menu at the Bistro.

The hotel location is fantastic; the view of the lake and mountains and snow is so amazing. I loved my room view, and it's the peace of heaven. So please don't waste your time and book non lake view! Also, the food at their restaurant is delicious. I have already recommended the hotel to all the people I know!

The hotel is excellent, but my only comment was that we didn't feel any special or warm welcome. Because I told them months ago, we were celebrating our anniversary. My only request was to arrange the best possible "room view" in the same category as my booking, but no, I had to request to change my room many times until they finally agreed to move us!

The property is immaculate, gorgeously constructed, like you are staying in the most luxury lodge - the views are incredible. The services included are beyond my expectations - the concierge was so helpful with planning our stay - helping set up our ski rentals and passes. we enjoyed the pool every evening - heated in front of a lake tahoe sunset , it was just incredible. our rooms were spacious and spotless. the beds - so comfortable, the showers - huge! It was a pricey stay but my husband and I agreed it was worth every penny. If you want a truly luxury stay while you are in Tahoe- stay at Edgewood. It will surely meet and go above and beyond your expectations :)

it didnt make sense that the hotub was closed,, but the pool open. We stayed at another resort that week prior in Nevada and they had a nice rule of one related parrty in the hotub at a time, no longer 30 minutes per party and people were compliant . While the pool was incredible and comfortable, as it gets colder, guests really will want to use that hot tub & i think they can make it accessible while being covid compliant.

Spent a few days here for my birthday and it was great although there was snow (Neither I nor the staff expected it) The fire pits through the outside of the resort was good and kept me warm. I ate at both the Edgewood restaurant and the bistro, and they had alot of choices. The spa was a bit expensive, but it was worth it. The shuttle was on command until 11 and they took you within a few miles of the resort. Overall this was a nice resort and I enjoyed myself. Everyone was extremely nice.
