Budgetel Inn Glens Falls-Lake George-Saratoga

It was in a nice location. Close to food, gas, shopping. Our room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable. Nice size television,refrigerator, microwave . The office was clean and welcoming and the front desk staff was very pleasant.

The hair dryer was cracked, so I could not use it. The fitted sheets did not stay on the bed mattress. The shower head did not allow much pressure. The water in the shower was not hot, was like warm.

Comfortable beds, clean room, plenty of space, friendly and helpful staff. It was great to be able to park right in front of the room, and they had a couple chairs out front of every room to sit out on the porch when the weather is nice.

No coffee maker in the room, or even in the front office. so you have to go off site to find coffee in the morning. Seems kinda petty to complain about, but I like my coffee in the morning.

Everything was super clean. The bathroom looked like brand new and the carpets were nice and clean. We had stayed at a Hampton the night before and this place was cleaner and the appliances were nicer & the blow dryer was better than the Hampton. It did not smell and the beds were clean and very comfortable. I was pleased and so was my husband and son.

The outside are could have been nicer. To be fair we did not get there until late and left pretty early and it was raining the whole time. I told my family that if they could update their signage the place would be more appealing.

David was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and confortable. Shower was excellent. Fridge & Microwave in each room. Convenient ice machine. Quiet location.

No coffee that we were aware of. Ice machine scoop missing the 2nd day. Wifi very poor in room 207.

Very simple old-style motel, but very clean and comfortable. Our unit was in the back building away from the road so it was very quiet. Also it had a very quiet AC unit! Our host was helpful and friendly.

Would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room.

In February, I stayed at the Budgetel. I'm so glad I did. The price was amazing, and the room actually looked better in person than the online photo. The bathroom, the bedding, the floors - everything appeared so fresh and new, as if recently renovated. The room was warm and comfortable, it smelled odorless, the wifi was excellent, and everything worked. I will definitely stay there again. The location worked well for my friend and I. It was close to Cole's Woods and Inside Edge Ski and Bike in Queensbury-the reason for our trip. There was also an authentic Mexican restaurant, La Cosina Mexicana. There are more good restaurants in downtown Glens Falls. I will visit all those places again. The proprietor at Budgetel went above and beyond with service. After I left some belongings behind, he even contacted me and sent them back. Incredible!

I was treated like a Queen! Manager Dave was always on top of any needs. lovely guy/ hard worker

No frills. no coffee maker in room. (there is coffee available for guests in the lobby)

The owner was excellent and the overall experience was above expectations would stay there again

The only problem we had was the day we were leaving, the plumbing backed up. They were taking care of it right away.

Booking provided expected services; bedding, cable tv, adequate furniture, bathroom and shower usability.
