Wingate by Wyndham Lake George

I made our booking on Booking.com who provided false information. They claimed that the hotel provides roll away beds. I sent 2 messages to the hotel through Booking.com requesting a roll away bed and never received a response. Got to the hotel to check in and found out they don't have roll away beds. My family consists of myself, my boyfriend, my 22 year old daughter and my 18 year old son. There was no way my daughter and son could share a bed. We went to our room to decide what we planned to do. The desk clerk came to our room to say that he had spoken to the manager about our situation and they offered us a 2nd room at a very good price. Excellent service.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Close to the village but also get the beautiful peace and quite lake George has to offer. The room was great, everything was very clean and new which was really nice! We loved the breakfast, it was great to be able to grab a bite to eat before heading out into the town! Definitely will be back next year!

Wish we could have stayed longer!!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much at the Wingate. It was very clean, comfortable, and the rooms were very spacious. Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options to choose from. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They recommended some great spots to check out in Lake George as well as restaurants which was so kind of them!

This was a great stay! The front desk staff was so kind and helpful. I stayed here several years ago and the place was unrecognizable from the last time. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast! Seems like they went through a major renovation. Great outdoor space to relax in the evening and very nice pool!

Under new management this place has tremendously changed!!! Nice location! Close to the marina and beach. Clean large Pool!!! BBQ area. Super amazing staff. Million thanks to Sunny she was very attentive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Definitely will be come back!

The gentleman at the front, (one man show😟) he was doing the best he could, very friendly and accommodating.

I personally thought it was over priced, we had only stayed 2-nights and were charged 554+ dollars.. Also, we had to get own Towels, wash, and hand towels. Plus!! We had to empty our own trash buckets and ask for more trash bags.. A lady was staying at the hotel, asking everyone and anyone to either buy her coffee in the Am hours than in the Evening hours she was begging for people(s)to do a store run and purchase her Alcohol, for the whole 2-night stay. Also, it was loud, someone was pounding on doors, yelling and crying in the hallway, someone clearly was smoking inside the hotel. 😮 Therefore; 554+dollars was a bit much... I am Sorry....

My kids loved it here. They loved the pool and had a great time running around the lawn and playing basketball. This was a family vacation we really were looking forward to. We usually stay here and loved it even more this year. It was all updated and very neat and clean. Will be back!

The rooms were huge! They were nice and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also lovely. The beds were also very comfortable.

The staff were a little rude upon check-in. But throughout the stay they were a little more friendly and helpful and provided us extra towels etc.

Very clean. Reviews dont do this place justice. Everything has been updated and is brand new. It was nice to have the smart TV so I could stream my favorite shows on Netflix. Rooms were comfortable, great breakfast with abundance of options! Will be back soon!

The staff was unbelievably profissional and nice. I forgot my Iphone charger, and, the manager himself offered is personal charger for me to be abble to have battery on the phone. This just shows their commitment to guests satisfaction. The breakfast was also very diversified and tasty!! And the bed… Omg, I was in the clouds 😁
