Studio Motel of Lake George

Upon arrival was a clean outside presentation, buildings were well maintained on the exterior, and parking lot nicely finished. Easy to find and close to the Village. Pool was great, clean and inviting. Shower hot water and pressure was awesome.

I didn’t like how thin the walls were, the room wasn’t very clean, floors were dirty, sofa was outdated. No daily housekeeping, beds were not very comfortable. The balcony to the room we had was not very wide, sitting outside and people trying to pass by, we had to get up to allow them by.

I liked the room. A lot of space and it was clean and updated. I loved the balconies on either side and the view on both sides. I loved the proximity to the beach and into the Village of Lake George. There was a Walgreens nearby and other small stores for last minute needs. You can see the fireworks from the motel which was nice as well.

The only thing I did not like and may impact my decision to stay again is the smoking allowed on the balconies. I saw the ash trays which encourage smokers. I wanted to enjoy the fresh air but there was so much smoke. My hair really smelled of it and all my cloths. I did not have this issue at other motels

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. We had a two double-bed unit, which was very comfortable for a family of four. the space to move around where we were not tripping over each other to get to another part of the room.

The air conditioner was low in the wall and blocked by one of the beds, so it did not cool off enough for me. Although, it could have been based on a cool weekend as it was overcast. Yet, it was not unbearably hot either.

The hotel is perfect for family travel. There is more than enough space for a family with a teen and a tween. The location is wonderful. The hotel is clean and well kept. The pool is fabulous.

The walls and ceiling are somewhat thin. This wouldn't have been too much of an issue except that our first and second night, the group above us was incredibly loud and heavy footed.

We had a wonderful time. Studio Motel was clean and perfectly located right out of the crazy noise within walking distance to the beach and downtown. Walking distance to some great restaurants. The pool was the perfect temperature and well maintained. At night it quieted down and it was so nice to be around a family oriented hotel. Beds were extremely comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers.

This place location is so beautiful. It’s both close to the city center and both in a quite location right into the nature. Staff was so helpful and smiley people. Rooms were so clean and the pool also. We had our 2 nights dinner right back of our room in a bbq area. We loved that place and highly recommend to everybody. And it was affordable also. Thank you guys for running such a beautiful place.

After 11 days of travel throughout the region, I had come to expect a little less with regard to pest control and cleanliness that I would ordinarily never settle for. I had lower expectations checking in based on some of these other sub-par stays at other locations. I was so relieved and happy when I saw the room was super clean, free from any bugs, and would be the perfect accommodation for my family for our brief visit. It's what I expect from any room I stay in, and they hit it out of the park. No stress needed when booking this place sight unseen.

Shower was pretty small, but all four of us managed to get clean with no real problems.

Room was very clean. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Owner gave us a ride down to the village when he saw that we were waiting for the trolley. It was 90+ degrees so we appreciated his thoughtfulness. Pool was lovely and very clean. Property is very well maintained. Lovely landscaping! Right on the trolley route, which can be challenging, at times.

Sometimes parking was difficult. People were not parking where they should.

Good location, clean and quiet. Ample free parking. Several outdoor seating areas. I enjoyed the view of the woods front the back porch. The owners and/or staff were pleasant and helpful.

The smell of stale cigarettes on the same back porch directly outside my room. I remembered asking for a non smoking room. I didn't know I had to ask for a nonsmoking porch. Yuck.

The honey moon suite was very nice, clean and comfortable. It’s not right in the town and over a mile walk to the strip, but not to bad.

Everything was great, but they could have made sure the pool was cleaned before opening hours, it opened at 10 am and I went swimming around 1 and I skimmed the pool myself because there was a bunch of bugs in it.
