Beautiful old hotel in a great location in Glens Falls. So glad I stayed in Glens Falls and away from the Interstate. Staff was all I could hope for. Even ones I wasn't dealing with smiled and said " hi" when I encountered them. I really felt welcome. Very spacious and comfortable room. Pub and Restaurant ( breakfast) were great. Ditto what I said about hotel staff . Waitress in restaurant and bartender in pub were friendly and efficient.

These are obviously small complaints, and would not effect my positive feelings about the Q. But- - TV did not seem to have PBS or Weather Channel. I missed these, especially Weather Channel for travel-related info. The available weather-type station seemed pretty lame and did not help me plan my travel during difficult weather. Coffee in the Restaurant seemed mediocre ( to me). Tasted like 60s coffee.

The Queensbury is an elegant building that has been carefully and nicely restored and brought up to date. The main lobby, hallways, and rooms have all been redone to a high standard. My room was very spacious.

The bathroom in my room was the tiniest hotel bathroom I've ever experienced. I happened to be staying on a Friday night when there was a wedding in the hotel, and clearly there were some revelers in the room across the hall who woke me up at 3am. One of the hotel employees was dispatched to tell them to pipe down. Apparently soundproofing between rooms is not good...

The pool and spa were incredible. The rooms were beautiful, clean and impeccable. The staff were friendly, the coffee was fantastic and parking was easy. It was an unexpected gem on our road trip. Highly recommend for any business people and/ or adults. It was amazing. Definitely planning to return.

The bathroom space with the pedestal sink and no shelving is rough as it relates to traveling. Recommend adding shelving for travelers toiletries. The steps to the pool are narrow. Travelers should be aware of steep steps. The front desk staff is happy to accommodate people with mobility issues.

Fabulous historic hotel. Renovated for comfort but maintains old school grandeur including piano player in lobby on weekends. centrally located , excellent staff

Only negative was the adjoining room was separated with 2 old wooden doors with about 2” of space between the door and the floor. The family of 5 next to us was rather loud and the sound traveled right under the door. This was not our experience on previous stays.

This hotel is in the heart of it all with an easy walk to restaurants and the Civic Center. It's close to the hospital. I like the history of the hotel and on the tv they provide you with information about it and its restoration. The room has old photos of the hotel with the old cars parked outside. The lobby and lounge are nice as well as the ballrooms. There is a park right across the street.

There was a dust bunny hanging from the ceiling right above the entry door inside the room. The heater is loud and cycles often. So the room can shift from hot and cold.

Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of the Glens Falls shopping district. close to restaurants, across from the park.

There were three weddings and a food and wine expo all booked at the same time which created parking issues and a bottleneck through the hall way. On Sat night the wedding guests were in the main lobby being very loud until 11:45 pm. We were still awake, but I felt badly for any hotel quests who were trying to sleep.

If you like old beautiful architecture, you would enjoy a stay at the Queensbury. We ate at the pub, which was a little pricey and seemed understaffed, but it was convenient for a quick dinner. The pool was surprisingly large and nice and warm. We walked the area and it was quite lovely. There was a band playing outside across the street in the park that was picturesque!

The bathroom was small in the double queen bed room and the air conditioner was a bit loud. But, linens were comfortable and clean.

The hotel is beautiful, has an excellent restaurant and bar The room was large, clean and comfortable. I was returning from Montreal and was only about 1 hour from home, but was tired of driving and decided to check out the hotel (and Common Roots, which is about 1 mile away). Making plans to come back w/ my wife to use the hotel as a base for touring the Hyde Collection, cycling and hiking.

We enjoyed the building and the proximity to downtown Glens Falls. We enjoy walking to dinner and exploring the area on foot. Though we did not use the dining room, it looked very nice. We also had an electric car so we used the charging station nearby.

We have no complaints, the building was very quiet and we slept quite well.

Good location, excellent front desk people. Staff in the restaurant was terrific

Very tiny bathroom, room was straitened and towels were taken care of., but we had rubbish on the counter and used coffee cups and used plastic cups that I had to dispose of by myself . And new plastic cups were not left in the room.
