This property while a little outdated was clean, comfortable , reasonable and a great stay. We took our Granddaughter to Lake George for 5 nights and stayed here. We had a great trip. The rooms were cleaned every day. We went in both pools which were clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast twice at the cafe on the property which was delicious and attended the Polynesian dinner show which was entertaining and delicious. Our Granddaughter loved getting to go on stage and learn the dance. Would stay here again.

The property is a little outdated and probably could use some upgrades but I am happy to stay in a friendly clean comfortable hotel in a good location.

Despite some bad reviews we took a chance. I’m glad we did!! The room was squeaky clean and very comfortable, great mattresses and pillows and plenty of towels. The AC worked well. The room was plain with tasteful decor and plenty of lighting. The pool was super clean and they have a large lawn that is well kept. We had breakfast at their cafe and it was delicious and a great price. The cafe was bright and well decorated. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Some of the common areas are a little dated but it looks like changes are being made in the right direction. The Tiki bar has so much potential!!

There has been a noticeable improvement from last year in the upkeep of the grounds, most likely the recovery process from covid. We selected the king room with spa bath, which being on the ground floor, is best for my wife not having to climb stairs. Room and grounds are looking great, the resort was busier this year than last. Had breakfast at the cafe for the first time, food and service was very good, not very fancy, just plain good food and selections. Very good location within walking distance to the town and lake shore

Can't think of any negative comments. We visit Lake George just to relax and eat and don't require much more than the basics.

It was a short stint from the Main st. in Lake George, easy to get to nice restaurants, arcades, the outlets and the beach. The room was comfy and clean, and included a fridge which was great for the leftovers we had from our dinner. The indoor pool was quiet, clean and at a comfortable temperature. Sadly didn't get the opportunity to use the outdoor pool or jacuzzi due to the rain.

I checked out hours before The Great Escape opened (our plan was to hit it up straight from the hotel not knowing it didn't open until 11.) There were some gnats in the bathroom, but this time of year it's unavoidable when it rains and we stayed on a particularly rainy day. They were weak and easy to swat so it didn't feel like an infestation, just a mild annoyance.

The hotel is close to town and the water front with its beaches, shopping and various eating establishments. Our room was on the first floor with a patio, also close to the outside pool. The room was clean and well arranged, but could use some minor freshening up. All in all we were pleased with the room and the hotel. Been wanting to stay at the Tiki for many decades, one item off our bucket list.

The grounds outside needs to be cared for and freshened up, though not terrible to avoid lodging there. The breakfast restaurant was closed on the two days we were there (Tuesday & Wednesday). therefore I can't report on the quality of the food, the dining area looked more like a cafeteria, but since it wasn't in operation at the time I can't report on its quality. The day we arrived (Monday) it was open but preparing to close about the time we arrived - we talked to one of the waitresses who was very pleasant and informed us of the days of operation. The staff was friendly except the front desk woman did not have a warm personality. I did expect the hotel to have more of an island feel, flare or atmosphere.

The property is nice, centrally located and has a laid back vibe with a bar, floor-show, two pools, and a breakfast cafe.

Okay - the doors in the section of the hotel we stayed in didn’t gently swing close and click shut. EVERYONE if unattended would slam shut with a report like that of a gunshot. Everyone. In a hotel with lots of kids they’re not going to notice or care as they leave a room. Sleeping before midnight or after 8am is therefore problematic. Bring earplugs and crank the AC to its loudest to cover the cacophony of inevitable and constant door-slamming.

The room was spacious (2 queen beds) and the bathroom was pretty clean. The breakfast (not included) was perfect for the price The fridge in the room was a must as well as the quantity of towels, my girlfriend and I both have long hair so the second towel we had extra was very useful.

There were maybe a little too many spiders, but I guess with the amount of mosquitoes in lake George it is to be expected.

Room and bed were clean. It’s an old building so there are some cosmetic issues (ceiling damage, etc.) but that was expected. Walking distance to the beach and the main “strip”.

Everything was great. Housekeeping is only running a few hours per day. We put our towels outside the door as instructed. I assumed they’d be replaced but they were not. We only stayed two nights so this wasn’t a big deal.

The room was a nice size. Beds were very comfortable. The shower was clean and had great water pressure(which is a must). The breakfast café had great service. We had Irene who was so pleasant and efficient. The dinner show was outstanding!! We would definitely return. My 8yr old had a bla

The website said that both the indoor pool and outdoor pool were heated. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was FREEZING so we didn't get to use it. There was no channel guide in the room. The bathroom door didn't close unless you slammed it and sometimes would still pop open. When we went to go to bed, the one bed had no fitted sheet just the mattress cover. The front desk wasn't sure if they would be able to get a sheet to us that night but did call back and sent someone up. These were minor issues but a great stay overall. We wanted to stay another night but they wanted more than double for a night than what I was paying.
