Courtyard by Marriott Lake George

There was nothing we didn’t like. This property was Fab U lous!! Clean, safe, beautifully decorated, friendly, spacious, all amenities included,. Do you know it has a rooftop deck you can have drinks and look out over the mountains on? Parking was phenomenally easy and secure and you felt safe walking from the parking lot to the hotel. They give you a full rundown of everything when you walk in. everybody knows, the most important part of any hotel is the staff. Every single person I talk to from the lady who is cleaning rooms to the lady at the coffee desk was above and beyond friendly and kind and genuine.  the front desk staff was exceptionally above and beyond friendly, helpful, and kind. They were genuinely nice people, Spencer checked us in and made sure we had everything we could have needed. The entire staff had great suggestions on where to eat, gave us accurate directions telling us where to go, and greeted us every time we walk to the door even the maintenance man said hello to a little girl checking out and made her smile. The people here are just beyond wonderful I wish I remembered the name of the handsome blonde haired man, and the wonderful lady, who was always smiling and helpful with stay here again in a heartbeat

Great placement of furniture, plenty of room for us to have our belongings. Bedding was comfortable. Window view was great & lighting. Got a view of the lake. At night closure and black out from curtains was great. . Everything was spotless and comfortable. Walking distance to great little stores, little attractions & grocery store. (FYI…Most are closed for winter)

Lack of communication from checkin. Such as where our room is, what hotel offers, what’s locally around, where to locate ice machine and where our room is. We kind of had to figure it out on our own. Not a huge deal…Staff wasn’t rude but did lack friendliness. Found out the hard way everything was closed in town for winter…That was a bummer… wish I had known that before booking. Apparently most stores are closed for winter and or only open on weekends. Coffee station could use an update such as a small single cup keurig would have been great. Also would have been nice to have a soap holder in bathroom to hold the bar of soap they provided to wash your hands.

We were a little skeptical upon 1st booking because they only had 2 rooms left and felt like it was going to be crowded and noisy. It was surprisingly quiet. The beds weren't horrible and the shower was refreshing. The staff was super friendly and actually had restaurant suggestions unlike other places we have been to previously and the views were nice and the lake was literally right across the street.

The food at the restaurant was a bit pricey. Parking could have been a little better but it was still tolerable. The beds were supposed to be king sized beds but they were not. Honestly this was pretty decent and if we find ourselves back in lake George we will try to stay here again

The room was large, comfortable beds & very clean. Bathroom was nice & big. All the staff that we came across were extremely helpful and pleasant. We liked the fact that there was a restaurant & a bar on site.The location was great . We hope to stay here again !

The bar closed kind of early @ 9:30 / 10. The only thing that the room could have used was a little side table next to the comfortable chair with the ottoman to put your drink, etc on.

Great location. Friendly and very helpful hotel staff not the inhouse restaurant staff.

In-house restaurant staffs are not meeting Marriot standard absolutely they did not pay attention for customers waiting on line to be seated for long time. When we approached a staff member, she said to wait in street to be seated in outside. I never never use this restaurant for my next visit and do not recommend my friends either.

Great staff, spacious rooms, clean environment. Love that everything was so close to the hotel (i.e. supermarket a block away, restaurant and coffee bar in the lobby, trolley across the street).

The pillows were terrible. Had trouble sleeping, even after taking a sleeping pill because the pillows had absolutely no support. Please upgrade your pillows.

Excellent beds , slept great

1) We had a balconey room , but unfortunately so did the people above us and they were quite inconsiderate and loud. 2) We have AAA and AARP but were not allowed to use them , supposedly because we booked our room with and outside agency ( they didn't offer a discount either ). Sould be a better way !

Spacious; modern appointments. Comfortable beds, Easy temp control without noise or drafts. Good ice machine by elevator. Liked the restaurant. Liked profusion of USB plugs and lamp outlets. Nice mountain view out window. Location was primo! Just down the street from all the activity - easy walking distance.

Didn't need second TV set - sometimes turned on w/common remote when not wanted. Very small (drinks only) refrigerator, no freezer. Long wait to get into restaurant at breakfast. No microwave oven (we were told they would bring one up if we wanted - we declined - seemed a little strange.) No elevator between ground and second parking level.

Location,roof top deck hotel front desk staff were all wonderful

Elevator 1 held captive up and down and doors did not open (many people pushing buttons on diffrent floors at same time could be the reason. 2 long waits for elevators from decks and crazy children in the pool Again thats on thier parents that isnt the hotels fault
