Sun Castle Resort

Location was great. Staff friendly. Like all the room. Didn't use the kitchen but would be handy if we stayed longer.

Spa bath in bedroom broken. Had part of the broken chrome sitting on the tub. You can take a bath but don't use the spa bubbles because it shoots onto the floor. I'm sure it is most likely not in every room on the property but ours was broken. Should have a sign on it that it is out of order. Also, on this tub the hot water valve was cold water and the cold water valve say's hot water. Feel bad because we forgot to leave a tip for cleaner.. We were there because we had been taking care of father in hospital and had family here to watch him while we get away for a couple of days. He ended up dying 2 days later after we got back so our minds were thinking a lot about him while there plus on phone with doctors a lot and we forgot to leave a tip. Felt bad about that. Room was clean.

Beautiful place!! We celebrated my birthday. We loved the view . Our villa was in the perfect position to see all boats come thru between the tiki bar boat the mini haha and the parasailing boat plus the other visitors in lake George boating around . Got to watch a wedding at the lil peninsula and beach our last day . The whole experience was very beautiful.

Location, facilities, boat dock for our boat. We have stayed at Sun Castle many times for over 30 years. Remember Robert Woods. Just Love the LOCATION and FAcilities even though much has changed and buildings have GROWN extensive through the years!!!!!!! The bathrooms were improved! Televisions in each room was an improvement! The air conditioners were great! Happy that the villas has been updated!

The condition of my villa's deck, steps, door should have been improved....painted, fixed, cleaner, there was a mess of soil before climbing our steps, thus I expected the landscaping to our approach could have been in better condition, especially for the price of our villa!

Loved the location and the staff was great. They moved us immediately because we had some problems with our unit. The townhouse was great ! Pool was great ! Kayaks and exercise room were a huge plus !

The chalet we initially booked had an ill fitting storm door and the whole unit was filled with flies and a kitchen not updated since the 1950s with a rust filled door on the Fridge. Bathrooms and bedrooms very clean but the last family’s kids handprints all over the windows so it could have been cleaned much better. When we got to the townhouse there was only rocks for a sidewalk and it was filled with mud for the whole week. Also the townhouse was missing a tv remote and did not have internet tv so Netflix. But beautiful in every other way!

Location was great had enough room in the townhouses for children to sleep and adults to stay up and relax

We had a couple miscommunication with staff when switching rooms which led to less than desirable wait time. Also found two open bottles of liquor in the townhouse when we got in (under bed and in bathroom)

This is our second visit to Sun Castle.Good service.Friendly staff.We stayed at the townhouse with an amazing view.We were very happy with our stay.

The bed was not comfortable.

The location is excellent and Lake George is beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The heated pool was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely come back.

We had originally booked three nights in a villa threw booking.com. When we arrived late in the evening we found the villa to be in need of some updating and we weren’t happy with it. We spoke to the office and they quickly reconciled our dissatisfaction and gave us a town house instead which was amazing and lovely. We appreciate all the trouble they went threw to make our stay the best. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our tenth year anniversary thank you.

The house we ordered was large, clean and tidy. Wide and comfortable beds and most of all - the location, on the shore of the lake with the amazing view from the house.

We came here 2 years ago, and we loved it. We decided to go back, to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. The location is AMAZING, and worth the price. We are so happy just to sit on the deck and look at the lake. There are tons of places to eat and shop, and activities to do, right down the street! We are absolutely coming back again!
