SpringHill Suites by Marriott Albany Latham-Colonie

We had to do a last min change of hotels and this hotel looked amazing and well taken care of.

First thing was my rooms TV, like the 2nd room we had as well we did not have HBOmax working on the TV. The TV was had to figure out and we had staff (Dave) come in to work on it as well and they could not get it fixed. The pool was great however the paint used for the pool was pealing off the stairs in the pool making slippery.

I really enjoyed this stay because it had everything it said it would. They also have us a pretty good complimentary breakfast. The rooms were clean and had hot water. I liked that they included a fridge, a coffeemaker, and a microwave in the room. My overall stay was very nice.

There is nothing wrong with the hotel room. It was really nice and comfortable.

Overall, everything was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very minor dislikes. The shower we had was slippery, there was that pink looking mold in the shower when we got there. The neighborhood slightly sketchy. The bed wasn't very comfortable.

I didn’t wake up in time for breakfast but I loved the location of the facility it was very easy coming and going very good in my opinion I loved it

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like it was really a very pleasant place to stay at it’s been awhile since I stayed at an hotel that was perfect everything was amazing

Good selection of drinks to choose from.

Limited selection of breakfast food items to choose from. Was only able to grab a couple of things. I don't eat oatmeal or English muffins, so I was limited to the little things of cereal and the pre-packaged corn muffins. Aside from the breakfast, I didn't appreciate the TV in my room being drilled to the table it was on. It had a very limited adjustability because of that.

Enjoyed how clean and comfortable the room was. The location was convenient.

From what we understood when we booked the room there was free wifi but upon arrival that was not true. Wifi is essential these days and having to pay extra for access to it doesn’t seem very hospitable to me. We were also expecting to be able to use the pool but of course at the time of our stay it was closed. I also did not appreciate how long it took for the fees to come out of my account. It took almost a month for the $124 for ONE NIGHT to be taken out of my account. This to me seems very irresponsible on behalf of the hotel.

The setup and layout of the room was fantastic. I had a sofa and little desk space separate from the bedroom space. The toilet separate from the shower stall was wonderful.

The sliding doors on the bathroom are fantastic however cleaners are not cleaning behind them. There was hair and it was soiled behind the door which is highly noticeable when the door is closed and you are inside the bathroom. The beds are too far on the firm side.

pool was kinda small. is this the hot tub? where is the pool? kids still got wet, little cold, but it’s winter time… breakfast- eggs were burning in warmup skillet, could have been attended to more regularly, not let that happen. but we still enjoyed our stay, Thanks!

the rooms were large and very comfortable. the staff set it apart from other hotels we’ve stayed in and we travel often. they were all the nicest people and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant.

it was a little dated and worn. but they kept it clean

The breakfast was normal but good enough. This location was perfect for getting to main traffic routes, shopping, entertainment and dining locations in the Albany-Schenectady area. The whole hotel area outside and inside was quite admirable.

Scrambled eggs in addition to hard boiled.
