Great location, near to four metro stations.

Room 104 too noisy some times because the lounge.

The rooms are really nicely designed and the view is amazing. Very large rooms for new york. Close to a number of stations.

I don't see the benefit of sonders 'different way to stay'. Unlike a normal hotel, where check in is never difficult and you can generally check in early for free, at sonder you're hounded with emails prior and during your stay, there's no left luggage and early check in is $25. The hotel itself is really nice (although our room was quite dusty and we were missing some towels and pillowcases) but the amount of email communication needed to replace a front desk was annoying.

This brand new hotel (opened summer of 2022) is perfectly located near to 7 subway-lines. The amazing view of the rooftop is the best of New York. Friendly staff and security.

The staff were all so friendly and easy to work with! This is a big factor as it makes the initial experience much more pleasant. Housekeeping is my only complaint but the direct staff there were so nice. When we had an issue with cleanliness they were so quick to respond and try to help. The hotel room itself was so simple and cozy, yet modern. The window lets in some noise but generally the unit we had was fairly quiet. The shower products were nice, Davine’s is a reputable, professional natural brand (hairstylist). Also the ability to leave your bag before and after check in/out was so helpful!

Housekeeping didn’t do a great job even when asked to go over a second time. A lot of slamming doors in the early morning but we were near the elevator and employee room of some sort, it’s to be expected.

Very clean hotel. Liked the simplicity of the room a lot. Bed was very comfortable. The view on the city from the 5th floor was stunning.

Balcony and room doors are loud. The lift sound ("pling pling") was noticeable in the room. In 3 days no one checked on the room. Even though it was apparently possible to order housekeeping in the special needed sonder app. One thing is quite annoying: From the time of booking the hotel until after checkout I counted -25!- mails in total regarding this one booking straight from Sonder. 3 of them because I had a question and 22 with all kind of information and codes and other topics. 6 of the mail's during my 3 day stay. That's not really fun.

The location and the neighborhood were great. Short walk to 2 good stations. Good restaurants and a deli very close by. Staff was great, very helpful and polite. Our room was cosy, had a fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine.

There is no place in the hotel to get food or drinks. Would benefit from a vending machine, however, this is our only flaw, and absolutely not a deal-breaker.

The hotel is only one stop with the subway from Manhattan. A couple of minutes walk to the Queensborough Station from the hotel. Clean room and a great roof top terrace where we had breakfast every morning with Manhattan skyline as a view. A small store around the corner with great breakfast sandwiches.

We really had a great stay and if something negative it would be that there where limited space in the room for our clothes as we are a family of four persons.

I really appreciated how clean the room was. As soon as you walk in to your room you can smell how fresh and clean everything is. Including the floors, the bathroom, and the bedding. I liked the location because you're super close to a cheap pizza shop and a block away from a small bodega to get any items you need. The train into Manhattan and Soho is just a 5 min. walk away as well. The price of the stay didn't hurt either!

I didn't like how cold the room was though. I turned the air to the highest it could go but it still managed to be a bit chilly. Maybe ask for a few extra covers if you're visiting in the fall/winter. I also didn't like that the shower wasn't fully covered by the glass. I felt like I had to be very cautious not to splash too much water on the floor because of that.

everything was clean and neat. the staff was super friendly and helpful. there is a terrace on top of the building and it has an amazing view! Even tho that location might not be perfect, the view is amazing! The lounge is a cute one too! I liked it all!

I liked everything about the hotel. Maybe the only thing to slightly dislike is the location. Walking to the hotel from the subway might be stinky at times when it is hot outside)) but honestly, it's alright.

All of it! It was a lovely place, well-maintained, and in a great and convenient location. Wish I knew where the furniture came from because I would have bought a set for myself! (I asked the employees, apparently it came from the owner so they don’t know where it was bought)

Noticed there was still a small amount of hair/particles on the floor so it probably could have done with a more in-depth cleaning between residents, but it was something I noticed accidentally, not something actively noticeable. I only bring it up because of the various pandemics—but I’ve also worked hospitality before so I know small particles sometimes just aren’t picked up by the brooms/mops/vacuums.
