The bed was very comfortable and the location was great.

The suite was a little small for two people (my adult son was with me). The bathroom was small. It would have helped having the toilet separate from the bathroom.

Room and bathroom are spacious (considering New York), you can even open the windows a bit in the room and bathroom. Very clean, and housekeeping kept our room tidy 👌. Reception staff was very friendly, gave us a lot of useful tips. Location is great, our windows were facing a narrow courtyard, which made it surprisingly quiet to sleep.

The hotel does have an outdated vibe with carpeted floors, slow elevator and a stale smell, but the team does a good job preserving the facilities, for example, the leather furniture in the reception and letter chute by the elevator. Housekeeping was knocking at 9 in the morning, which was early for us considering the jet lag.

The hotel amenities were good, and value and price linked (for once in New York!). It is indeed a 4 star hotel with good service, and amenities, and room (suite) was of a good size, beds were really good, and all was very clean. We appreciated the size of the bathroom and the renovation. The good smell of cleanliness was appreciated as well at our level. We appreciated the small kitchenette and fridge/mini-bar.

The only thing that would need some improvement if possible was a little smell in the entrance of the hotel, some humidity, but maybe that was only an incident, or linked to the street, where all sorts of smells can be found in New York! Apart from this, this hotel met all our expectations and we would have loved to stay longer, however we needed to leave back home...

I find it seriously hard to find any fault with the hotel, facilities or staff. The rooms we booked were spacious and lovely (one suite, one double). They had everything we wanted in the rooms and more. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The whole hotel has a very friendly atmosphere and every member of staff I encountered was lovely, some downright hilarious, all polite and couldn't do enough for you. I was especially touched that they went the extra distance for my daughter, who was celebrating her 18th birthday whilst we were staying in NYC. The breakfasts were also great and got us off to a wonderful start for the day exploring and sightseeing.

Honestly? The only thing I could find fault is there were two TVs in our suite, but only one remote. Not that it actually mattered. But if this is the only thing I can find fault with, then they are doing something very right.

I really appreciated the fact that I was upgraded to a suite but when I asked the staff, they didn't really know why, which was a bit odd citing "the booking system upgraded me automatically". They were very nice in any case. The suite was roomy, in fact immense by NYC standards, as well as luxurious and spotlessly clean, functional and aesthetic, comfortable, well ventilated and at just the right temperature with no loud or cheap aircon, so for once (usually I systematically have to do something about it) I didn't have to fiddle with the air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable, and the TV package was very good. The plumbing was good and the shower very decent (not amazing, but much better than most places). Looks like there was a very nice bar venue downstairs which closes late, although I didn't have the time to make the most of it. Situation is generally excellent, but most of my work activities were 30 minutes walk away: that's the only reason I didn't give this score a 10, but a 9.

I had asked for a high room hoping for a view but I didn't get one, I figured, probably because I checked in close to 11pm and booked via booking.com. The suite looked out onto an alley facing a tall wall. It didn't make any difference to me because I showed up late before a business trip the next day and had to check out first thing the next morning. I was slightly disappointed that the minibar was empty, but there was the complementary coffee/tea (I like it more when there is a complementary bottle of mineral water and something to nibble), but I have learnt to show up with both my own nibbles and water anyway for when hotels don't offer them.

The staff was very friendly and it is a charming boutique hotel with a genuine Irish bent to it (it is named The Fitzpatrick). Our room was very spacious and extremely well priced. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Nothing. It is a great hotel for its price. The location, facing Lexington Ave was busy and noisy, but I expected that. We stayed there for one night because my husband was getting surgery the next day so it was perfect for our needs.

I like the efficiency and kindness of all your staff. From your Receptionist to your Bell Hop, Housekeeping and the gentleman that delivered room service. I cannot say enough about Amer (Reception person, not sure of spelling). He went out of his way in the cold, to help me get a cab. Carmen and Kathy and others on your Reception Staff were just amazing ( sorry I don’t know the names of the other staff members). In my view they all deserve a raise. Thank you.

I would have loved to have had slippers to go with the lovely robe.

The room is so comfortable and heats up very quickly. The bed was very comfortable. The room is cozy and calm. Really nice to return to after a long day of sight seeing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very pleasant stay.

There was very little atmosphere in the lobby or bar. I was expecting there to be a bit of a buzz but this may just be the times we are in. The bar restaurante is quite dull and not particularly appealing . I dropped into the other FP hotel and it was much more lively. The hotel is so lovely but I was expecting a bit more ambiance in lobby & restaurant area

Loved traditional style of hotel. Felt more like a European hotel to me in terms of decor and ambience. I really liked that. This is clearly not a typical US chain hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful and cleaning and other staff were great. Our repeated calls for ice were responded to immediately and the cleaning staff worked so nicely with our big 4-room group. Room condition was fantastic. Our entire group of 8 loved the beds - so comfortable! Also, best water pressure and amount of hot water in showers I think I've ever experienced. Excellent Wifi signal in all of our rooms. Good location in midtown east and easy to navigate taxi/uber and subway. Good value for location and room size/condition.

Lobby and elevators showing a little wear. Not a detractor, but noticeable. A little far to walk to most attractions in the cold, but minor issue IMO.
