This is a hidden gem. The hotel is very clean, rooms are beautiful and I love having a balcony, which is hard to find in New York City. I really liked the staff as well. They were so friendly and helpful. The location is not bad at all, very close to the subway. The neighborhood is in transition so there was alot of construction in the area which really was the only downside to this area.

The couch, while beautiful, was very uncomfortable. That really would be my only complaint. There were some unsavory people in the neighborhood but not a lot. As I said above the area is in transition so you have to expect that. Even with that element it didn't feel unsafe at all.

Hotel was great. We stayed in the one with the balcony/terrace. I think that space is meant for entertaining. It was huge with 5 long couches at least. Got to sit there with a drink and look up the sky. Was waiting to witness a UFO sighting but didn't. We really stayed a long time outside just taking in the beauty of NY lights at night. Watching the planes mostly. The suite was great with 2 robes, ready for us. Front Desk was exceptional. They have an art exhibit when we were there of an artist.

Nothing really. This is a brand new hotel in Long Island City and didn't disappoint.

Room as advertised. Clean. Good amenities especially in bathroom.

The staff member on duty could not find my reservation when I arrived. Checking in is usually quick with booking.com. What should have been a 2-minute process took more than 20 minutes, he would not accept even the confirmation that I showed him in the Booking app on my own phone because he was unable to find whatever he needed to see in his own computer.

This hotel was great! I was worried that the reviews were all too good to be true, but they were quite accurate. This hotel was very well decorated. The location was great, very close to the subway and we felt very safe walking back from the station at night. Quiet area, but plenty of stores and restaurants that were good very close by. We brought our bikes and the front desk staff was so helpful in storing them for us and making sure we had them whenever we wanted. Staff was all very kind, friendly and helpful.

Friendly, courteous staff. Very clean establishment (you can smell the “clean” as you walk through the door). Modern amenities (as the moniker suggests), quality, well-packaged and conveniently placed toiletries. Staff actually pays attention to preferences in the comment section in the booking section online. Attention to detail is maintained throughout. Additionally, there is a gorgeous art gallery for viewing on the entry floor during regular business hours. This was a last minute booking but I’m really satisfied with the whole experience. 5/5 stars, would recommend!

Wow, a gem in LIC. The lobby is an art gallery featuring local artists paintings and a fun, funky couch. We stayed in a King with a balcony on a high floor and the room is beautifully decorated! It surprised us how boho chic the decor was and was very much our style. The views are LIC views and not skyline views but beautiful nonetheless. We enjoyed the separate space for a couch with the TV (has Roku).The room also had a microwave, plates, glasses, and a kitchen sink. Complimentary robes and slippers were a nice touch. The bathroom was small but you are provided with everything you may need: little razor, comb, soaps and lotions. We had a car so cannot speak to the distance to the train but there are a few cute restaurants walking distance from the hotel and one (albeit expensive) rooftop bar around the corner. Will certainly return!

This little hotel is a gem. Room was very nicely decorated, it almost had a home vibe. I liked the little balcony where one can sit outside and enjoy the weather, the bathrobe and slippers , the gym. Hotel is located near the subway so one can easily get around New York. Also, plenty of food locations around this place.

Clean and spacious rooms

The hotel does not have parking, just street parking which is very challenging, especially for those who are not from NYC. Not very many nice places for breakfast or brunch around the hotel (to be fair, there are a few average places).

Great location in a residential neighborhood very close to public transit. Recently remodeled, you can tell the owners really care about their property and the experience of their guests. As a bonus, parking was surprisingly easy and free.

Artfully decorated hotel, with large rooms that are well equipped with microwave, fridge and kitchen essentials. Small balcony, but not much of a view. Comfortable bed with nice linens. Family run hotel and the service was great.

No cable tv, but they do have Roku.
