Love the room and location . The building is unassuming and has most things I needed staying with my two girls. The maid staff and front desk are exceptional x 10. I would have graded another point if they had a service that served in room fresh coffee and a piece of toast . great stay . expensive and worth it. they take care of you.

Sofa bed mattress was a bit thin but that’s typical of all sofa beds I think.

The staff was very attentive and offered car service to the airport at flat rate. I loved that we had a kitchen to make simple breakfasts and late night meals. Housekeeping even washed our dishes when we had to rush out in the morning one of the days. The location is perfect to fulfill delusional dreams of living in UES as its a few blocks from Central park and 5th Ave shopping. There's also convenient shopping of CVS and target around the corner.

The bathroom needed a fan/ better ventilation and the shower is short. The fitness center is tiny. Gas stove is a little finicky to light and so it made cooking a precarious task. I also wished the rooms had tea/non caffeine options as well as coffee. I also wished there was a water filter/ filtered water bottles in the fridge.

We knew we'd pay a premium price for a great New York location, and though the cost was considerable, from past experience, we expected a postage stamp of a room. Instead we got a huge L-shaped space with living area, vast king bed, a dressing room, bath, desk area and separate full kitchen! Plus, no noise from surrounding rooms and very little from the corridor. We loved our room! To top it all off, the staff members were personable, friendly, helpful and just plain nice. And the hotel has a deal with three good local restaurants (a cafe, a hamburger place and an Italian restaurant, all within two blocks): you can order food, have it delivered and brought up to your room and it is charged to your hotel bill. We recommend one of the three, Tony's di Napoli, about a block away, for an in-restaurant lunch or dinner, good traditional Italian fare. There are lots of other restaurants within easy walking distance as well. My husband and I are good walkers, so when we weren't doing business, we were able to visit the Metropolitan Museum, Neue Galerie, Cooper Hewitt Museum, Central Park and the Museum of Modern Art, all on foot. The hotel staff is quick to call taxis for you, too, and of course there's Uber. For supplies and newspapers, there is a CVS half a block away with basic groceries, mailing envelopes and so forth; there's also a post office less than 10 minutes' walk away. Plenty of shopping around too, though we did almost none. The company we were working with was also within easy walking range. Pretty much the ideal stay.

During the winter months, we were told, the air conditioning is not available. You can either turn the heater on or not. Our solution: as we both prefer to sleep in the cool, we just cracked open two windows and turned the heating off at night. This meant admitting some noise, but as our room faced the back of the property, a lovely garden area provided some distance from street noise, and our earplugs took care of the rest. The coffee machine in the room uses the tea-bag method of making coffee, and it's not very good. We either ate breakfast in the room and bought coffee on the way to our first destination of the day, or ate breakfast at the Silver Star Cafe (a good place and another of the three restaurants that deliver on your hotel bill).

We had a one bedroom suite that had its own kitchenette. Beds were comfy, the whole suite was comfy. Very quiet for sleeping at night. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels given. Hairdryer, toiletries, and kitchen wash up liquid and dishwasher tabs provided. Great for Central Park. I felt it was maybe a little off the usual tourist beaten track, but once I found the F and Q trains we were flying around! My only small comment is the room had no kettle, but we used a pot on the stove for boiling water for tea. Staff were really warm and friendly.

Loved the separate kitchen, the comfy beds and the warm staff. Loved that hotel is 10 mins from central park. We had a one bedroom suite with 2 double beds plenty of space for my family of 4.

I loved this hotel and would definitely return. To nitpick... there was no kettle in room and location is slightly out of the way for some of the usual tourist things, but actually once I got the hang of the F and Q trains we were flying around.

It was spacious for NYC. The location was beautiful, felt safe and was convenient to things we did. It was surprisingly quiet. To have a separate bedroom was wonderful. Staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. Daily service in our apartment was good. Our requests for things like more hangers and pillows were quickly and cheerfully met. When our coffee maker malfunctioned, it was replaced readily.

The kitchen needs more equipment. Having only two sets of silverware and limited dishes made it infeasible to use the dishwasher. It needs at least one sharp knife, a vegetable peeler, kitchen scissors, a few storage containers, serving dishes, a bowl or two to mix things in, items like that. We didn’t like the weak coffee packets and started using a half cup of water to make more flavorful coffee. The bathroom floor needs scrubbing between the sink and tub, but otherwise it was very consistently clean.

Centrally located to most places with 25 min throughput Manhattan. Visually very clean and minimalistic/modern vibe.

When we used BOOKING.com it said it comes with breakfast, which is does not; it comes with a breakfast “credit”. There is NO FOOD on the property, fyi. The heat/AC crank out hot hair no matter what the setting, so it’s hard to regulate the room temperature.

Wonderfully friendly staff/great value for the location/short walk to subway/restaurant and grocery/kitchen is perfect size and well equipped/dining table, closet and built - in chest of drawers/good small gym

It’s a little tired, particularly the carpet, bathroom and sofa bed. Nice to have black out shades but they really don’t fit the windows too well.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The service is fantastic. Everything we asked for was taken care of immediately and generously. The location is wonderful, especially if you're interested in Central Park. It is also very close to grocery stores and restaurants. The hotel also has washing and drying machines.

All in all we were very satisfied with the hotel. It should be taken into account that there is no breakfast served, but the rooms have a full kitchen and there are grocery stores nearby. Also the laundry wasn't so convenient because you can purchase detergent only in a machine that receives nothing but quarter coins. The machines aren't amazing and not everything was dry at the end, but it's good enough.
