Hampton Inn Jonesville/Elkin

The breakfast was quite good with many options. Reception (Laura) I believe, was extremely helpful with restaurant choices for dinner. We went to Generations which was a family run business with great home cooked meals. Would stay again for sure. Very comfortable bed.

The only slight negative was at around 5am there was a strong bacon smell in the room. I guess our 3rd floor room must have been by a kitchen exhaust. Not a big deal though.

Our stay was great for one night, we received what we requested and Lora was very helpful and professional. The breakfast “staff” were very kind and helpful as well. Our bed was comfortable and the whole room:bathroom was clean.

My only “complaint” would be that we could hear our hotel neighbors tv loudly, so the walls were thin Atleast in our room unless they were just loud.

The lobby is adorable. The staff very friendly and congenial and super nice. The fact that breakfast was made each morning and the menu changed daily. Super nice staff at breakfadt too. 24/7 coffee. tea, hot chocolate bar was awesome. Everyday free cookies, fruit and popcorn. Easy in and out location 👌 My 15 yr old said it was like a Hallmark 🎬 movie

The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good. Coffee was good.

Everything was great except when we checked in I asked about our points and he said we couldn't get our points since we booked through booking.com. I asked because we had just stayed at Amelia Island for 3 days and had booked that one through booking.com and we received our points there. He said there was nothing that could be done.

I love this hotel. We travel to this Hampton inn several times a year for a quick get away. The hotel is near wineries, Stone Mtn State Park, Pilot Mtn State Park and Mt Airy (Mayberry), The hotel goes the extra 10 miles to make their guests feel welcome.

For the most part good - decent breakfast. Nice upgraded room when cooling/heating system in our room wasn't working.

Would have rather had scrambled eggs instead of egg white frittata - not a fan of egg whites. Otherwise good. Front desk recommended Generation restaurant and unfortunately we thought it was not up to our standards. We regret staying to eat our meal. They were nice but did not like the meal.

This was a perfect place to stay. In a quiet location just off the freeway. Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. They had coffee and even snacks, and a HUGE breakfast in the lobby. I will definitely be back!

Would like to see grab rails on each end of tub where u step out. Elder parent did not feel safe and asked family to assist.

staff was super friendly and helpful. the entire building smelled clean and refreshing, the rooms smelled even better. The bed was super comfy, I went to bed early and slept in late every morning of my 4 day trip because the bed was so comfy.

the tub was a little old but not bad

The location was close to 95 and easy off/on. This will be a stop again for us. Staff was helpful and kind. I’d recommend this hotel.
