Location was great just off I-77. Pet-friendly was a must for me, so I was thankful for the Inn offering that option. Good selection of food available nearby. The DQ has excellent burgers, and a good, old fashioned breakfast can be had at the Surry Diner. I had been at the Surry Inn many years ago, and the updates have improved the appearance and comfort.
I think the room could have been vacuumed better. There are areas where it is obvious the vacuuming wasn't done thoroughly...by ironing board, frig, etc. Other than that, sheets were great and good tv service available.

I liked the size of the room, the furniture, the mattress and pillows were good, but sheets and bedspread were not soft. Those could be improved. The fridge and microwave were excellent. Shower was also nice
No coffee cups with the the coffee maker. I couldn’t get but one channel on the tv, and sheets and bedspread could have been softer.

Did not stay for breakfast. Location was great right off the road. Liked the fact that we could go right into the room without interacting with others. It was clean. Beds were comfy. They allowed us to get the same room on our return trip and they made sure to honor our request to have a ground floor room. We appreciated their thoughtfulness.

The Surry diner was great. Excellent food and great prices. Nice people.
There was a funny smell when we first went into our room, but we put on the Heater, cause it was rainy and cold, then the smell got better. Smelled like cigarettes.
