Knights Inn Mount Airy

Close to everything!!! Many restaurants to chose from-BBQ-Coachs-Seafood-Aunt Beas-McDonalds literally right near by plus Dollar General in the parking lot for things you may have forgotten and drinks/snacks. Extremely quiet--exceptionally clean room-I would say by far better than any fancy hotel we've stayed at. Having hot water was great!

Not that we didn't like it but breakfast was limited to coffee and pastries. No refrigerated items like cream cheese or peanut butter for bagels. No juices, cereal, or milk for kids. Like I stated though breakfast areas across the street or just down the road to McDonals or 15 mins away in downtown.

This is one of those former "mom and pop" style motels with perhaps 30 rooms on one level. It is well kept and the room was clean and very quiet. I would stay again as it was 30% cheaper than the Quality Inn which I also liked on previous stays but I like saving a few bucks if I'm only there for a restful sleep.

The phone in the room didn't work which was a bit of a pain but the manager let me use his personal phone. I'm Canadian and didn't want to pay the US roaming charge.

Rooms were very clean! If you are looking for a cheap place to stay I recommend it! Just a simple room to spend a night in nothing fancy! But I wasn't looking for a high dollar hotel! Good bar bones room for the money! Pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was! For what I paid for the nights stay I'm satisfied! Would defiantly stay there again!

Very Clean Rooms! And a great affordable price for a nights stay!

The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was very quiet even though there were quite a few other people there. The room had been updated and was a pleasure to stay there. We were very happy with our stay!

The pillows were a little hard, maybe two soft and two firmer ones would have worked better and possibly have decaf coffee available in the morning breakfast. Not complaints just suggestions.

An older motel with what appeared to be renovated rooms; very clean, and quiet. New flooring, new paint...etc. New parking lot and bed comfy. Furniture and tub/shower appeared new., Exterior door entrance used a real key...not keycard. Very outdated records system....filling out a white information card. We had to leave very early and the coffee was brewed at 6:30 as promised.

Only individually wrapped muffins offered for breakfast; only cheap powdered creamer and pink packets.....no real sugar...offered... We checked in rather late. A teenage boy came from another back room barefooted (must live there) to take care of my reservation. The father also came out to assist. Very cordial but not professional.

Location was perfect for our needs. The cleanliness of the room and facilities was outstanding! Highly recommend booking this Knights Inn.

Bathroom could have been bigger. The AC/Heater was very hard to regulate. It was either hot or cold...no in between.

I have a confession, I was concerned about booking a Knights Inn. HOWEVER, this location was perfect for our trip. It was very clean, quiet and exactly were needed to be.

It was a little "tricky" finding the correct driveway the first time in.

The property was very clean and so were the rooms. I was a little optimistic because it was not a known "brand" hotel but was very pleased with how I found this property.

No hair dryer was in the room and since most other hotels do have hair dryers, I did not bring my own. That was disappointing.

I always stay at knights inn when I go to Mt. Airy it's always been a nice place. To stay I would recommend it to anyone

The only thing I can complain about on this stay is a motorcycle that keep running in out all night and it had a loud exhaust

That was the cleanest room I have ever stayed at. I took and white rag and washed the tables and cabinets and that rag was a clean when I got finished as when I started.. Excellent cleaning..

Well I missed not having a coffee pot as I get up very early in the morning but it was still a very nice room and friendly staff.
