Comfort Inn Mount Airy

Comfort Inn Mt. Airy is a great place to stay and a good location. It was quite and very clean and all of the front desk workers were very nice, and helpful with any questions we had about the town or restaurants. It was our first time there to visit "Mayberry" and we had a great time. I highly recommend staying at Comfort Inn.

The only complaint I have about Comfort Inn are the beds. They were a little hard and not too comfy! Other than that everything else was great!

We stopped at this hotel for a one night stay on our way down to Myrtle Beach. We were greeted by a wonderful front desk lady who was very friendly and kind! The hotel was clean and had a great hot breakfast with a huge selection of breakfast foods including freshly scrambled eggs, sausage and a make your own waffle station as well as bagels, pastries and yogurt. As an added bonus, this hotel was only a 5 minute drive to the iconic town of Mayberry where the Andy Griffith Show was filmed. We would definitely stay here again!

The elevator is pretty slow and the hair dryer needed to be updated but these were not things that would keep me from staying here again.

Location, the 1st room was good except asked for a handicap room gave us one on the second floor

The handicap room was on the 2nd floor and the elevator broke our second day my wife has a hard time walking down steps that's why we ask for a handicap room. We talked to the lady at the front desk about the problem and she called the manager and I was tolded that when she comes in she would give us a break on the room for the inconvenience and never got a reduction on the room

We were coming from a camping trip and booked the room so we could visit Mt Airy. We were so tired and hot. The staff was so nice and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the room was cool. I was able to lap swim in the pool. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and we were in the bottom floor Yay!!

Since we had our camper the parking was a little tight. We had a hard time getting out because of the maintenance truck but we made it out. And all is good.

I left my bathing suit(black trim pink)and my husbands bathing suit (green) on the bathroom hanging on the shower Rodin room 120: I called Noel the desk clerk. She said she would check room for me.I called back around 6:00 (called 4times-did not get anyone to answer-called reservation # finally got a person to talk to they called comfort Inn in Mt. Airey NC,gave me the number I called Mt Airey NCand got a person. They said that Noel had left a note about my bathing suits. This person said that they would check with housekeeper in the morning,7/30/22 Emogene Dickens 864-557-4518.I know those suits were there-please return them 430 Newbury Circle Westminster SC 29693. I appreciate all your help to get my bathing suits back to me. Also I could not believe how hard it was to get a live person on the phone to talk to about my problem. We are getting too technical in this world and losing that person to person customer service. Thank you for your trouble Emogene Dickens

As always, the staff was friendly! Makes you feel at home. The location is great. Far enough to be close to everything yet not in the middle of the city so you dont have the traffic noise.

The first night was rough due to the family above us. I'm pretty sure they have a bowling alley in their room, or thats what it sounded like. Called the front desk, and they took matter in their hands for us! It's not a hotel issue.

For breakfast they had basic options with hot options as well. My room was very clean as well as the bathtub. The bed was very comfortable and sheets were soft. I like the curtains.. no light showed through while I slept.

The only thing I didn't like was the light bulb in the room flickering all night lol but I survived 😅 the toilet didn't seem to want to flush but it flushed all the way the next morning.

I liked the proximity to area attractions of interest, and good restaurants. We were able to get to the downtown area and see all the sights.

The only real issue was out of the hands of the hotel. Our first night there, whoever was in the room above us must have had kids, and they were jumping on the floor on up into the night. The only other issue was that the toilet wobbled and needed to be shimmed.

Everyone was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It will be my hotel for all Mt Airy visits!

There was one family that had 2 children running all over the hotel. Up and down steps and through all 3 floors. There was also a room near mine that smelt strongly of weed. However, the staff took care of that situation.

Comfy bed with crisp clean sheets. Excellent water pressure in shower. Staff courteous, helpful, & kind.

Pool not heated. Room had slight stale order either from over time damp carpet or vacuum bag need replacing. Not complaining just informing. Plentiful breakfast, but eggs salty, could be because I don't salt my food, still tasty.
