There was a restaurant in the hotel. The room had a fridge and microwave. The staff also live in the hotel, so when the water was out , they delivered pitchers of water to drink to our rooms before we knew there was a problem. We arrived after an ice storm so many stores/ restaurants had not received supplies. Since the restaurant on site was one of the few open it was busy, but since we were a guest of the hotel, they gave us the option of “take out” and we didn’t have to wait. It was a perfect location between town and the mountain, it was easy to ski for a while the drive back to hotel for rest and a meal. Being close to town it was a short drive to the sledding hill and other activities in town.

It was dated but functional, at the time it was also under renovation so things didn’t always work- like the water.

Our stay was super! Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. One night we enjoyed an early evening picnic on the grounds in the company of several deer and fawns. We followed that with drinks at the bar and dinner in the restaurant, both of which were very good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Steve, chief cook and bottle washer, was a wonderful host and made our visit that much better.

When we arrived it was hard to miss that the landscaping around the building needed a lot of attention. While the entire place was clean top to bottom, certain aspects were somewhat dated.

Location was great. Steve was very attentive to our needs. Large comfortable room with gas fireplace. This is our third stay here and won't be the last. Although we didn't use the restaurant this year, if past years are anything to go by it's good fine dining.

Although the room was comfortable it is fairly outdated. No cooked breakfast that is a big minus for us along with nothing in place regarding hot drinks etc after a long day on the slopes. Plenty of scope to make improvements making it more like a ski Lodge. With all that said we've just finished our third stay and will be back next year.

This is the second time staying at Beech Alpine Inn. I love this motel! Its old but cozy, comfortable and clean! The restaurant is absolutely fabulous. The rooms are big and the views of the mountains are beautiful. Deer are all around feeding as you look from your room or while your enjoying dinner! The hotel is very close to all the attractions and the owner is well informed about ANYTHING local. Its one of my favorite places to stay and highly recommend giving Beech Alpine Inn a try.

The only negative is the outside of the hotel. Its needs some TLC but nothing some boards, paint and a little landscaping cant fix. The inside is dated but very very clean.

The onsite restaurant serves delicious meals, the staff could not be more hard working or accommodating, the grounds of the hotel are perfect for gathering with family and friends, even in the winter thanks to the pavilion, and the location and value cannot be beat. We love Beech Alpen Inn's quaint and rustic charm.

Wifi and cellular service is not the best. It is our only complaint and really not the fault of the inn, more a factor of geographics.

The view was amazing! The food at the restaurant was some of the best anywhere. The deer grazing in the back o was special.

The renovation work was a little inconvenient but the rest of the resort made up for it!

Room was clean and met expectations. Staff were great. The menu served in the restaurant was excellent. The view was fantastic.

Building was dated and could use a remodel, the inn is stuck in the 1970's. This did add to the charm of the place, but really needs to be considered. The inn could really use a hot tub.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We had an issue with the HVAC in the room and they made arrangements to have the unit replaced (not repaired) within a few hours of letting them know. It was unfortunate that there was an issue to begin with but their prompt attention to the matter shows the quality of the staff.

Due to local regulations, the restaurant was very limited on hours (no breakfast) and the shuttle to the local ski resort was not running. Both of these items were listed as available when making the reservation and I was disappointed to find out it was unavailable upon arrival.

What we liked the most were the deer that gathered at 4pm for their evening corn. If they got there early, they had to wait. They scattered across the mountain, so I couldn't get many into a shot. The hotel is close to the various restaurants, etc. An easy walk.

No complaints. We didn't eat there but they had meals for lunch and dinner. Some dinners must be special as there were large crowds for them.

Restaurant on premises is open for dinner only. The food is pricey, but we thought the quality and preparation was well worth it. Indoor dining is comfortable and the outside patio offers a lovely view. I'd go to this restaurant even if not staying at the Inn.

The overall building is that of an old ski style lodge, so it may seem outdated to some people. Although not updated, the rooms are large, comfortable, and offer a reasonable value.
