Chetola Resort Condominiums

the property is beautiful with great amenities. it’s very close to App State which is why we rented there. the condo was beautiful, clean, and comfortable.

The condo itself was missing a few key items. There was no hair dryer which I wasn’t prepared for. There was also not a full length mirror nor another mirror other than one in bathroom which made it difficult to get ready if someone was using the bathroom. The outlets in the bathroom above sink did not work. After I purchased a hair dryer to use, the outlets did not work so I had to use the outlet in the room which had no mirror. The owner might also want to install towel hooks in bathroom as we were hanging wet towels on the wooden doors to dry. Also, putting some coasters in the condo would be good so the beautiful furniture is not damaged. Just a few suggestions to make staying there more convenient for renters and to help keep the condo beautiful.

Food was great and the servers were wonderful. With Covid, we were expecting limited service, but instead it was excellent and the people were warm and made the experience memorable. Tables we had were set a little bit away from other people, which made us feel more secure. The other big plus was walking directly onto the hiking trails from our condo! No driving needed, but a short drive brought us to even more trails.

We prefer a king bed, and there were no kings available at the resort, although many rooms were booked and perhaps some of them had kings.

the condo was beautiful and very comfortable. The one thing that wasn’t cleaned very well was the bathroom. there was long brown hair stuck on the shower wall and on the bathroom floors. other than that I was very pleased.

The directions to get to the condo were very confusing and we bumbled around for 15 minutes trying to find it. also tried for over an hour and a half to reach the front desk and no one picked up. finally had to call the spa and ask them to relay a message to the front desk for us.

it was really a charming place I felt like I was at home. It was clean and was so very cozy. they thought of everything...i was up there on family weekend ASU and my son was feeling right at home. I got to do his laundry and cook him a home cooked meal. we did a lot of exploring around the area but not to far from ASU. I see myself definitely going back!

Picturesque location, good amenities

The front desk phone went to voicemail every time we called. Out of four separate phone messages left for various requests, only one call was returned.

Condo was on bottom level, underground. Stairwell was dirty, rusty and in severe need of update. Wren condos did not seem as nice as many others we saw, and were furthest away from main area. Outdoor seating was not comfortable or conducive to relaxing. Overall, the condo was fine. Clean, equipped, comfy bed. Just regular minimal condo. Appliances, which we didnt use, were nice. Chetola resort and Timberlake's Restaurant are wonderful. As well as lake activities. Would love to return and stay in lodge accommodations.

The overall beauty of the structures, landscaping and layout was breathtaking! We spent a lot of time at the Bar/Restaurant area. The drinks were great and the foods were delicious. The waiters, waitresses and bar tenders were right on time. One night a live singer entertained in the lobby. It was casual and felt like a sing-a- long with the family at the den. We got to see a beautiful bride in her dress walking around. It was an excellent experience.

The construction noise in unit next door; poor TV service; unit decor dated

Liked the layout. I was the only one staying there, but entertained friends staying in another hotel there for dinner or wine and appetizers. That unit would be good for a family get together too.

Location was great. Staff was very professional. Lights for Holidays was beautiful. Parking was plentiful.

The only thing that I was not pleased with is the fact that we could not participate in activities like shooting range and golfing. Even though we reserved at least two months in advance we were told that we had to reserve for the activities once we got there and that was incorrect. When we got there, everything was booked and we could not have a space.
